Why women are more career-oriented these days

The change in the orientation of women right from the 20th century saw to the shift in their attitudes and thought patterns. Women no longer see themselves as the weaker mate, but as active participants in the institution of marriage.

This change in thought was propelled by many factors, such as; better education about their role in the society, as nation builders and shapers.
They were further enlightened about their supportive roles which were not limited to the physical, but extended to all other aspects such as emotional, psychological and financial support through symposia and conferences. Their education led to the rigorous pursuance of careers.
The rise in the influx of women in the career scene has led to tremendous and outstanding performances in their respective fields, which is as a result of hard work and dedication.
The question now is why are women more career-oriented these days..

Bc men are no longer taking care of their responsibilities and they expect  women who are not working to pick their bills and still nag them when they are doing their best.

and after getting the bag of rice from peanut ..they still cook the rice while the man watches the TV.many men have really abandoned their responsibility

I really didnt have to read the whole stuff before I give my reply............its simply because Most guys dnt want a liability as a wife, and most importantly no sensible woman wants to be one. Bsides

Both women and men have their roles in any society.

If being over ambitious will translate to a more effective/positive women
in the society, they deserve all the support.

But, if they are in to challenge men or for some ego-driven reasons then
age long institutions like marriage, education, family and the entire society will suffer.

Like in the U.S where every woman wants to believe & feel that she is equal to men
combined.

The consequencies are; since two captains can't steer one ship, divoice becomes inevitable.
single mothers everywhere telling their kids how bad/irresponsible daddy is.

I jst wished everyone in the society knew their roles and appreaciate their rightful position.
