Two ‘pastors’ and their accomplices have been arrested by the Delta State Police Command over complicity in the kidnap of Mrs. Grace Odibo.
The victim, who lives at Orhuwhorun road in Ovwian-Aladja, Udu Local Government of Delta State, was abducted on her way from church.
Police spokesman Patrick Ebokah, who confirmed the arrest, said the victim was kidnapped by a five-man armed gang.
Ebokah said the victim, who was with Miss Ufouma Apkejohwo in her car, was held in the home of ‘Prophet’ Jeffery Awaniki.
He said the victim was held for days before she was rescued.
Other suspects include ‘Prophet’ Martin Umueku, Ufouma Odejewho and Kenji Egan.
Ebokah said the anti-kidnap squad, acting on a tip-off, stormed the hide-out, arresting the suspects and rescuing the victim unhurt.
He said the suspects would be charged to court soon.
