Kokomaster D'banj set to get married in July

Dapo Oyebanjo aka D' banj is set to tie the knot this summer, a source confirmed.

The Mo' hits and Good Music recording artist and songwriter who has undoubtedly ranked himself among one of Nigeria's most celebrated artists of his generation and arguably of all time is popularly known for his highly flamboyant and erotic style of music recording and on-stage performance.

'The Kokomaster' as fans fondly call him is said to have been engaged to a longtime 'best lover' according to the very close relative and that plans are on the way for a showdown ceremony.

"It's not something I can really relate to as I'm not officially inclined to, but it's been paired with his album release time sometimes in July, believe me it's going to be the biggest of weddings" the source who spoke on condition of anonymity said.

She also could not verify if the 'best lover' is fellow Nigerian celebrity and Nollywood icon, Genevieve Nnanji who incidentally was featured in D’banj's "Fall in Love" musical video and was also referred to as a "very good friend" at an award ceremony last year where the singer and harmoica player also said "we are in love".

The highly celebrated recording artist and Vice-President of the recording outfit Mo’ hits also has refused to deny or accept rumours of his alleged affair with his Nollywood celebrity counterpart Genevive despite several pictures of the duo filtered social media networks.

All attempt to reach his publicist and manager, Sunday Aare proved abortive as calls were not immediately returned.
