The loan, according to him has a 10 per cent repayment interest. Represented by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs. Taiwo Kolawole, the commissioner said, “Government has again demonstrated its commitment to the implementation of workers welfare policies”.
In his address, Chairman of the Ondo State Teaching Service Commission, Barrister Fola Amure dismissed insinuations that the scheme will soon be discontinued by the state government, saying,
“There is no iota of truth in the insinuations that government will no longer give out car loan after this set because of insufficient funds. Please don’t listen to the tale bearers.
“This loan is a revolving one and it is a continuous exercise. For the umpteenth time, I want to plead with you the beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture by working harder”.
