PUNCH Metro learnt that the deceased was an employee of Lagos Clinic, Apapa.
It was gathered that Shubert was stabbed to death by the hoodlums who were five in number.
Our correspondent gathered from a reliable source that the hoodlums broke into the compound of the deceased, tied up the security men before heading to his apartment.
The source said, “On February 9, 2011, around 1am, hoodlums numbering about four or five, broke into the house of the deceased. We don’t know if it was an assassination or a robbery but the men scattered his residence and stabbed him in the neck even though they had guns.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the state command, Mr. Joseph Jaiyeoba, confirmed the incident but said he had yet to be briefed.
