Breaking news: Herman Hembe, chairman Capital Market Probe panel steps down

     Unsettled  by the  N44m bribery allegations levelled against him  the  Chairman of the House Committee on Capital Markets, Hon. Herman Hembe today resigned as the  Chairman of the House Committee on Capital Markets this he did in a way to heal  Committee on Capital Markets and prove his innocency of the  bribery allegations levelled against him as the  Chairman of the House Committee on Capital Markets, and other members of his committee by the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, Ms. Arunma Oteh  .

The Senate had mandated the Ethics committee to probe the allegation while the public hearing continues under an ad hoc committee.
