Onyi, how do you know that the person you met in a bus is a graduate? You never knew him before. Is it because he is handsome as you said? Well, we have our own languages before the british came as with some other countries colonized by the British. Apart from the western hemisphere and Australia, any country that was colonized by the British has its own original language(s). If you go to any of those countries you will still find those that do not speak good English e.g Ghana, South Africa, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pakistan, Egypt etc. Although it is not unsual to see a graduate who does not speak completely good English, but, if the person studied English as a course and does not speak good English then that calls for concern.

English and english and english.

I like classic pidgin. Like, dis site too dey dull, I won log out sharply. O-boy, last night, i been chilax 4 one cool joint. Dem been d nak some kpambga kokoma, I swear I became a kpangba lyricist cause the DJ was a kokoma physicist.

Chai, come see as chikalas just d throw Ikebe. Na so I just turn to peter rufai. If dem throw am go left, I go fly like superman. If them throw am go right, I go run and jump like Ben Johnson. Damn, the seriousness of this Ogbonge Okpongidis pass hitler SS. See as dem wan turn me into woman wrapper. Chai!

Some enemies just d vex. Dem one fight chinese. Like say dem don smoke canabis. Chai.

I must like tell you about the akuya suya. Chai. See something. With pepper inside. Not to talk of as shaio just d flow like river nijah. Chai. I just d swim inside till I come see mama shaio. She one carry me go. I been d piss after much water wey I don drinking. Chai. Na so Mama shaio, come d rub me d vex say make I no piss inside her river shaio. She come d kiss me. She come say make I jump into her arms. I come look am wella. See as she fine. I con ask myself say, shebi, no be inside water I dey? No be inside shaio? How person wey d swim inside river nijah go still d jump? I look d mamiwater wella. I con realize say na mami shaio na im she be and she won decieve me make I jump enter d hole abi na drainage or stream or gutter. I  come look am wella. I tell mama-shaio say, "you daughter of jezebel, man shall not live by shaio alone." Na so Prophet Jesus talk. Get yea behind me.

Na so, I waka go back to my table. Chai. People no know say me and devil just figt. I laugh. Dem no know why. I sit down. Call d bar man. Tell am to give me water. And tell am make e tell dat fine chikala in that her ikebe squeezing jeans to bring me dat hot akuya suya, so that pepper go pepper my eyes so that make I go d recognize devil quick quick.

Chai.

I sit down. Call for one more HARP. I travel go back in time, I remember Shackmolimo. SHACKMOLIMO, THE LAST SON OF THE DEVIL. SHACKMOLIMO. I knew he is searching for me. Im one d ride with me. I stand up, throwway d remaining shaio. Start to d rush d go house. I come d hear footsteps for back. Shackmolimo is coming like Willie-willie. Na. I recite 1 million hail maryies. E no walk. I enter Suras. I practice asanas.
Dem d work but answer no come quick. And if Shackmolimo waka reach by my side, na die. E mean say I don enter JABURATA. Chai. Na so I change levels. One Time! I change levels sharp sharp. No time for long thing. God punish devil and im people. I change levels.

I enter run. My leg d slap my head for back. My movement na 4-4rty. Hmn! Cassala no go ghast ontop my head. I don near house and SHACKMOLIMO still dey come. SHACKMOLIMO come d shout my name. I tell am say I no hear you. Im d shout. Im come d tell me about d time wey we been d flex town. E d remind me of all those bad bad clubs and shaio joints wey we rock. E d remind me of all those Chickala wey we carry go. All those girls wey d chop person money like say dem no get father. Im come d call all their names.   Im just d call all those NAIJA SWEET SWEET CHICKS for Naijapals name. I tell am say I no do again. I tell am say dem fine, but, now na God I won follow. Say, I no won follow duri lost. Im come d tell me say make I no fear duri, say na honeypot I commot from. Say everybody get thing. Say make I no d fear all those my former chicks. Say dat time I no sabi dia way. Say na why dem chop my money and dump me.

Im come tell me say im get one bad chick for me. Im come tell me say im name na AKUNASERA. Say d girl na real Imorrality. Say if I see d girl chest, I go forget all my problem. Say If I see the girl IKEBE I go feel strong. Im come remove the picture. As the picture just d flash me, one church just d ring Angelus. One Mosque just d call prayer. Na so I run commot from AKUNNASERA jungle. Chai!

I enter Hala; not the moto, but, d shout.

MY PAPA FOR HEAVEN,
CORRECT BE YOUR NAME.
MAKE YOUR OGBA COME
MAKE YOUR WAY D BE FOR HERE AS E D BE FOR UP.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Before I know, Angel Gabriel show - One Time. Im carry im knife stab Shackmolimo. Im come bless me so that I go fit withstand AKUNASERA. I ask am why BABA GOD no answer my prayers quick quick. Im tell me say I been d form. Say I know HALA 4 god from My soul. Say I d form IVY League abi Na england. Say I d form Arabian. Say because I no halla well dat na why God no answer well. Im come tell me say make I stop to dey form.

===============================

@Poster, pidgin English is a functional form of english. There is nothing wrong with communicating with it if you don't know better. If I wrote the story above in English, do you think it will have thesame meaning? Don't you think that it will have a different colour?

Spare me with all that crap, english is not our mother tongue is just an excuse from a lazy person.Yes we all admit that is not our mother tongue and we can't be perfect in speaking or in writing but we can improve if we want.Everybody can speak/write english no one is immune from it,is just the matter of what you want.
Novels, newspapers,tv programmes or even foreign ones like bbc,cnn and others are there for us to  improve and enlightening our  speaking/writng abilities.so you must not be in tertiary institution to speak/write english, let's not forget it's our official language we must try our best.
For those graduates that can't defend themselves either by speaking or writing english,i'm very sorry to say this please it's not personal he/she should go and refund his/her perents or guidences there money because it was waste.
