Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: N4billion Budgeted For Patience Jonathan's Project Is Unnecessary |
on: 2-02-2013 04:08 PM
| The N4 billion vote in the 2013 budget of the Federal Capital Territory for the First Lady Mission, which is Dame Patience Jonathan's project. The N4 billion is for building a mission office for the First Lady. The budget was reviewed yesterday by Senators ,apparently they were against the expenditure. This was what one of the senators said: Senator Babajide Omoworare ‘The Women Development Centre is there for the use of the First Lady to do anything she wants to do and I'm not aware that there's a First Ladies Mission in the US where we copied the presidential system of government. There's no such building in South Africa or Ghana that is our neighbour Senator Babjide Ojudu said: I'm worried and I hope that those of us who are leaders in this country do not take the youths for granted. How can we vote N4 billion for office of the First Lady? I just pray and hope that this does not get to the public because if it does, we are in trouble. Nigerians will not forgive us for appropriating money for an office that doesn't exist in Nigeria. All of us sitting here must not allow this thing go through’ We keep on slandering this woman's name, even if 100billion is used to build the house, it does not belong to her, when the term of the President expires, she will have to leave the house, the house belong to Nigeria no matter who turn out to be the first lady then can use it. Not that I am supporting the project, but it is unfair to call the house Jonathan's wife house. He will only be president till his presidency expires which is going to be next 2 or 3 years, at that time the house may not be finished , so Dame may not even live in it. | | |

| In a charter flight to New York, host of celebs enjoyed luxurious first class treatment by Arik Air. Mavin producer - Don Jazzy, Actress Funke Akindele, Uche Jombo, Rapper Iceprince, Brymo, Waje, Comedian AY were spotted on the luxurious first class cabin on flight to New York for the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. The stars were posing for several photos in their seats, while they made use of the luxury features, which they later posted on Twitter.
>>>CLICK HERE TO VIEW THEIR PICTURES<<<Is there any need to hold Nigeria Entertainment Awards in New York? do Americans leave their country to hold awards in Nigeria or any other country watsoever, or do the British hold their awards outside their shores? Something is wrong with our mentality and need to be corrected before it is too late. | | |

| This Yoruba people are so wicked. Just see how the lazy bastards waste the life of an innocent lady. Jealousy will kill them one day. I believe those hired killers are from the East, precisely Ibos, they are so many, that Yoruba land is corrupted of their evils. I hope you like that idiot | | |

on: 21-08-2012 11:38 PM
| You are calling DBanj small boy, have you forgotten or you dont know that he is older than your so call Don Jazzy. Most of you the commentators dont know what you are saying or commenting on, you most commonly base your write ups on tribalism etc, so I m not surprise, most of you are surporting Don Jazzy because DBanj is a Yoruba forgotten than Don Jazzy live all his life as a Yoruba and mind you he is not Ibo but from old Bendel, u people are only trying to refer to him as if he is an Ibo but unfortunately he is not from your tribe | | |

Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: My wife had an affair with her old boyfriend- can I still trust her? |
on: 27-05-2012 02:25 PM
| My wife lied and lied about what had happened with an old boyfriend from her schooldays. In the end it was her lover’s wife who told me it was a full-blown affair.
I’m 48 and my wife’s 46. We’ve just celebrated our silver wedding anniversary and had booked to go away for a week. The day before we were due to leave my wife rang me at work in tears. She said I needed to come home but didn’t say why. I rushed home and she told me someone had put something on Facebook saying she’d had an affair. She said it wasn’t true but when I asked her if she’d been seeing someone, she said she’d met a guy for dinner. He was an ex-boyfriend from years ago. She said they’d only had dinner, nothing more. She said she’d never do anything to hurt me or the kids – we’ve two teenage girls. We went on holiday that night and had a good time until the last night.
I couldn’t sleep. I kept wondering whether she was telling me the truth. The next morning I asked her if she’d slept with this guy and she admitted she had but just the once. I broke down in tears. My wife received a text from her ex’s wife as soon as we got back home. She wanted to speak to my wife but my wife said she couldn’t face it so I rang her. She told me they’d been having an affair for six months starting last October and asked that my wife leave her husband alone.
My wife still tried to deny it at first but I cried and pleaded with her to be honest. We’ve talked, argued and cried but I still find it hard because I’m sure she hasn’t told me everything. She started going out “with a girlfriend” on Wednesday nights more than a year ago and that is when I now know she accepted this guy on Facebook.
I am heartbroken. It’s put a huge strain on our marriage. My man,
People can say what they like, my man stay with your wife, it is your family and not anybody else, people saying rubbish here without knowing the actual fact are not been sincere with themselves, most of them will stay with their family and will not want it destracted by an allegation from a woman scorned. You got information from a rival woman and you believe it 100% against your wife explanation, that shows there is not love from begining because an element of trust should be plentiful in relationship. Woman are ready to destroy potential enemy, other women they thought are danger to them, it is possible that the man may have told his wife innocently that he met your wife and whether he has said good things about her previously to his wife, and things are not going well between them anymore or the woman is just an evil jealous bitch.
My man, if you love your wife, your kids and you believe in your mind that your wife loves you then please keep your marriage together, just give are a condition if there is any more situation where he need to lie to you, then that is the end, that she should not try to protect you, anything she should tell you.
Mind you 80% of women particularly Nigerian women are not wife materials, they are only brilliant when they are girlfriends, so be careful of taking a drastic action that you might regret., particularly if it comes out that the allegation are far fetched.
Lastly most of the people advising you on this forum are young, majority are not married, they dont know much about marriage or life as such. Wishing you good luck in whatever decision you might take.
