A house wife, Mrs. Iyabode Fatoki has told the Alimosho Grade ‘B’ Customary Court, sitting at Iyana Ipaja, that her husband shaved her pubic hair.
Mrs. Fatoki, a respondent in the divorce suit filed by her husband said they were living in penury at the time of the incident, which made her to suspect that her husband may have used the hair for money making ritual.
“I woke up one morning to discover that my pubic hair had been shaved and when I told my husband about it, he said he did it for the betterment of the family,” she said.
The mother of five said shortly after the incident, their economic condition improved and her husband promised he will not marry another woman.
She said her husband later reneged on his promise and married another wife, which led to her having regular verbal wars with the new woman.
She added that her frequent quarrel with the new wife informed her husband’s divorce suit.
However, the petitioner, Mr. Fatoki, led in evidence by his counsel, Mr. Bolarinwa A. Musa, denied using his wife’s pubic hair for ritual purpose.
He admitted shaving the hair, adding it was to allow easy penetration as the hair always disturbed him, whenever he was having segxwal relations with her.
The court president, Mrs. A. O. Olatunji, has adjourned the matter for judgement.
What an excuse.
