Ghanaian curvy actress and model, Moesha Boduong, in an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour made a stunning revelation on why Ghanaian women depend on men to pay their bills. This came after she was featured on an episode of CNN’s ‘S£x & Love Around the World’. According to Moesha Boduong who admitted she sleeps with a married man, the economy of the country is so bad that women are compelled to have segxwal affairs with men, just to make a living.
CNN’s Christiane Amanpour talked with Moesha Bodoung on the topic “When being a mistress is a financial decision”. Here are excerpts from the interview;
Moesha Boduong: In Ghana our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can’t make enough money as a woman here
Amanpour : Why because you can’t make enough money?
Moesha Boduong: You can’t make enough money as a woman here. Because if you want an apartment, you have to pay for two years in advance and i just started working…where will i get money to pay…
Amanpour: Are you basically telling me you are having sex with this guy essentially to pay your rent? (Shock in her eyes)
Moesha Boduong: Because he can afford to take care of me…

Moesha Boduong : He takes care of me, my financial stuff, my car, my rent, etc…
She added that in exchange for the money she receives from her lover/benefactor, she is expected to stay loyal to him and yield to his segxwal desires whenever he demands.
“He expects me to be loyal and just to date him only and give him sex when he wants.You can’t say no.You have to give him what he wants otherwise he is going to think you are cheating on him, ” she added.
One Emmanuel Titus Udo, male, from Nsit Atai Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has been arrested by security operatives and arraigned in court for defaming and maligning the member representing Uyo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Michael Enyong.
Emmanuel Udo was arrested through the joint effort of the Department of State Services (DSS), the National Intelligence Agency(NIA) and the police.
Arraigned before Akwa Ibom magistrate court in Uyo on Monday, April 9, 2018, in a suit titled COMMISSIONER OF POLICE VS EMMANUEL TITUS UDO, the accused (Emmanuel Udo) was slammed with a one count charge of defamation of character.
The defense counsel, Barr. Honesty Akpanam, prayed that the accused be granted bail on lenient terms. Udo was granted bail in the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira(N500, 000.00) with one surety in like sum who must reside within the jurisdiction of the court.
Emmanuel Udo had operated a fake Facebook account with name Emem Etina and claimed that Hon. Michael Enyong impregnated one Regina Christopher of Itiam Etoi in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
For many weeks, Emmanuel Udo used the fake Facebook account , with fake profile picture of the fictitious Emem Etina, to defame, malign and blackmail Hon. Michael Enyong claiming the federal lawmaker impregnated a non-existing Regina Christopher of Itiam Etoi. He generated and shared the false pregnancy story against Michael Enyong to unsuspecting members of the public.
Concerning the pregnancy story, Investigations revealed that Emmanuel Udo lifted from the website of World Health Organization ( WHO ) picture of a pregnant woman by name Esther Sabouangis , a Cameroonian from Yaoundé receiving preventive malaria Medicine during Pregnancy and posted the picture on the fake Facebook claiming it was that of Regina Christopher of Itiam Etoi whom he falsely said was impregnated by Hon Enyong.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday said the herdsmen wreaking havoc across the country are gunmen trained by the late Libyan President Muammar Gadaffi.
Speaking with the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Abuja House in London, Buhari said the gunmen escaped into Nigeria and other West African countries after Gadaffi’s death.
“The problem is even older than us. It has always been there, but now made worse by the influx of gunmen from the Sahel region into different parts of the West African sub-region,” he said in response to Archbishop Welby’s question on the herdsmen crisis.
“They were trained and armed by Muammar Gadaffi of Libya. When he was killed, the gunmen escaped with their arms. We encountered some of them fighting with Boko Haram.
“Herdsmen that we used to know carried only sticks and maybe a cutlass to clear the way, but these ones now carry sophisticated weapons. The problem is not religious, but sociological and economic. But we are working on solutions.”
The President said “irresponsible politics” had been brought into the farmers/herders’ crisis, promising that enduring solutions would be found, and justice done to all concerned.
He said he declared his second-term bid on Monday before his London trip because many Nigerians were “talking too much” about whether he was going to run or not.
On Leah Sharibu, the Dapchi schoolgirl still being held by insurgents for refusing to renounce Christianity, the President said: “We are managing the matter quietly. Making noise would not help. We are collecting as much intelligence as possible, working with the Red Cross and other international organisations.
“There are too many fraudulent people around, who claim they can do this and that. We won’t deal with them. That was how we got the Dapchi girls back, and the Chibok girls.”
Archbishop Welby said it was always a delight to see President Buhari, adding that he would pray for him on his decision to seek a second term.
He later presented President Buhari with a copy of his recent book: “Reimagining Britain. Foundations for Hope.”

A lady simply identified as Dara has taken to Instagram to narrate on how she was robbed today on the Eko Bridge. According to Dara, she was mercilessly slapped, beaten and injured in the process just because she refused to hand over her properties to the thieves.
She however blamed the Nigerian government for allowing tanker drivers park along the bridge, which consequently caused the traffic gridlock every morning and thereby giving these criminals the liberty to rob commuters without any confrontation. The Lagos State Police Command has reported on the discovery of an illegal brewery at Egbe-Afa in Igbogbo area of Ikorodu, Lagos State. Five suspects were also arrested at the scene. Edgal Imohimi, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, made this known to journalists at the scene on Wednesday.
According to The News Agency of Nigeria, the illegal brewery was producing malt drinks, stout and ethanol which they pumped into trucks to bottle at another location. Mr Imohimi said that the suspects would be subjected to further interrogation to know where the drinks were bottled and sold. He said that the illegal brewery would be sealed and samples of the drinks would be sent to the laboratory for test.
The police chief attributed discovery of the illegal brewery to the efforts of community policing and partnership. According to him, the people of Lagos are showing increasing confidence in the police. Mr Imohimi urged residents to know their neighbours, saying that vigilance was the only way to have a crime-free society. “This success story of the police is an evidence that community policing and partnership is working in the state. This is an illegal distillery where malt, stout and ethanol are being produced in an unhygienic environment thereby feeding poison to the people. You will recall that a fake wine factory was also discovered at Mushin recently. This is as a result of vigilance. I encourage the people to do more. “This is an information which should have got to the police earlier, but I commend the people for sharing this information with the police. “People must be deeply involved in crime fighting and this can only be done if we are vigilant. “Lagosians can only give credible information to the people when they are healthy; so I will encourage you to say something when you see something,” he said.
The illegal brewery has more than 1,000 drums of brewed malt and 100 tanks where the drinks are pumped before supplying tankers.

Ubong Ekpe, a Managing Director at Skye Bank Limited has been drowned at the Ibeno beach in Uyo. He reported died alongside his brother, Francis. The pair were part of the guests who attended a birthday party organized for a friend.

According to the reports, the incident took place today, Monday, April 9, 2018, during a trip from Jos to Keffi.
A businessman, Immanuel Ibe-Anyanwu, created a sensation on Monday after calling for help on Facebook while in the toilet of a Zenith Bank branch at Ago Palace-Way, Okota, Lagos State.
Ibe-Anyanwu claimed that some operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad were waiting outside the bank to extort money from him.
The 37-year-old, in the post, claimed that the policemen had seized his company documents.
While urging his friends and other readers to share the post, he said his phone battery was running low. The victim, who later spoke to PunchMetro on the telephone, said he stayed in the toilet for over two hours.
He claimed that the operatives, who waited patiently for him, later removed the number plate of his car in a desperate bid to extort money from him.
Narrating his ordeal, he said, “I was coming out of the banking hall after a transaction around 2pm on Monday when a man in mufti approached me. He said he was a policeman. I asked for his ID card, which he showed me. He told me to follow him to where their vehicle was parked.
“They were seven in number in a mini-bus. They were all armed, except the driver. Immediately we got there, he told his colleagues that I was trying to snatch his ID card from him. I was shocked. I wanted to explain, but they asked me to shut up.
“They went through my company documents. They saw that the address of my company was at Ikoyi and asked what I was doing at Okota. I told them that I came for a banking transaction. They asked why I didn’t do it at Ikoyi and I replied that I lived in Okota and that I left my house late and wanted to do the transaction before going to the office.
“They asked what we do in my company and I told them. They asked what I was doing before I opened the company. They said I should open my car for a search. which they did; they didn’t find anything there. They said I should enter their vehicle so that I could take them to my office at Ikoyi to confirm that I worked there. They said they know the street, but they don’t know my company.”
The victim said he suggested that they meet with his landlady or speak with his office workers on the telephone, but the policemen refused.
He noted that he called the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Chike Oti, who asked to speak with the operatives.
Ibe-Anyanwu said after he handed over the phone to the officials, they cut off the call and seized the phone.
He explained that a resident later mediated and asked the policemen to release him.
“They said because of the man that begged for me they would release me. They called me aside and asked me to arrange some money for them. I told them that I needed my phone to arrange the money. They returned my phone.
“I went into the bank and sneaked into the toilet where I wrote the Facebook post. I called the police spokesperson again to inform him that they had just released my phone and were demanding money. He told me not to give them anything. He said he had mobilised some officers and they were coming to rescue me.
“I was in the toilet till 4pm and thought by then they would have left; but they stayed. Later, the bank workers asked me to leave their premises. By then, my phone battery was flat and I could not call anybody. By the time I peeped outside, I saw they had removed my car’s number plate,” he added.
The businessman said he had “swiftly” entered the car and turned on the ignition to leave the premises when the policemen surfaced and blocked his path with their vehicle.
He explained that he refused their call to wind down the glass, adding that a crowd gathered around the scene.
Ibe-Anyanwu said the policemen dropped his number plate and drove out to wait for him outside the bank.
“The bank asked me to leave their premises. I was confused. I decided to risk it and speed out. That was how I escaped. Although I can recognise them, they don’t have any name tag. They only had their crested guns with SARS jacket,” he added.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Oti, in a statement, said the policemen had been identified.
He added that the state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, had ordered their arrest and trial.
