Education in Naija is def better than in d US and UK at d primary n secondary level. that's y kids raised in Nigeria excel academically as soon as they get outside. as far as learning unnecessary stuff is concerned, don't quite agree with that cos in primary and even secondary school u need as much general knowledge as u can get. no knowledge is wasted, always comes in handy in the long run. I find it shocking when i see kids in d UK not being able to cope with basic spellings. It also explains y kids raised abroad find it difficult to cope with skull when brought back home to naija.
