Any way the guy is not yet ready for a serious thing with this girl and the girl should understand it the earlier the better for her, check out guys who are serious in relationship they work hard, they don't eye ladies money, they even despise rich ladies because they will not gain happiness rather scolding and insult when the rich lady find another young handsome guy to savor, those ladies like sampling young guys and enjoy discausing it with their friends. am not saying anything to this guy, am only advising the girl to tell him "thank you for introducing me to sweet things like .................... but get rid of that bad lazy rubbish. i rest my case

Well if your parents are too much reasons for both of you to stay and enjoy ur love lives then I think that's a problem.. I mean the need to run away doesn't even come...cos if you both truly  love each other, then your defiance will prove to both your parents that you might know what you want and will not budge until you have it. .....and with time they will learn to respect ur decision... That respect though can only come if both of you can stand for yourselves!...if you both have the security to do so!
