Your story is very interesting I need to say.
Starting with inferiority complex that worries d main character in d story,
this happens once in everyman life when one thinks d opposite sex is of high caliber/status.
What one needs to do is to see the relationship 4rm different angle-not a do or die affair.
Also it will help if one can see through others' opinion of life as well as not being desperate to get one's desire.
