Applicants should be aware that the only qualification for the visa lottery is high school (secondary school) diploma (certificate). If you are radomly selected, the United States consulate in Nigeria does not have the right or the power to deny you a visa, either because you were unable to answer "special" tests that were composed by the consulate staff. Usually, these tests are demeaning in character and are employed merely to insult Nigerian citizens.
