We should all be careful the ways we talk about this matter knowing that all the people concerned are men/women of God. I think what we all have to do now if truly we are xtians is to pray for the concerned pastor that God should speak to him on how to make right whatever has gone wrong. We all know that the plight of this man of God is not an easy one, nevertheless, God's word/will must be strictly allow to guide him in a situation like this. May God Almighty Himself give to him the right cansel he needs to overcome this great a challege he's facing (Amen).
@those who think that Jesus permit divorce,
The teaching of Jesus concerning divorce in Matthew chapter 19 must not be misinterpreted. The context at which Jesus was speaking was that that had to do with the Jewees cultural setting in which when two people(male & female) are in courtship which was at that time as legal as marriage itself, if either of them discovered that the other party is committing immorality, he has right to quit the relationship just like the case of Joseph & Mary the mother of Jesus in Matthew chapter 1: both of them were still in courship when Joseph discovered that Mary was pregnant and as a result, Joseph being a God-fearing man wanted to privily quit the relationship(which was lawfully allowed according to their culture) had God not intervened. But it is not Biblically okay for married couples to divorce & remarry. The will of God is that what He has joinned together no man should put asunder but even if there have been separation in any marriage relatioship, with God the differences that had brought about separation could be resolved so that the husband & wife can become one again.
May God Almighty Himself divinely enable pastor Ituah Olajide Ighodalo to act right in Jesus' name.
Let us all be praying for ministers God has placed over us. The really need our prayers to act right when challenges of life catch up with them: no man is beyond temptation/trials BECAUSE JESUS HIMSELF was tempted yet without sin-He overcame the devil by rightly applying God's word .
