I remember being pregnant with my daughter....LOL
I realized I was pregnant when I was flying home, I was riding backwards in the plane which normally didn't bother me but my stomach felt a little shaky....so I drank some ginger ale to settle it.
I tested and it was confirmed.
I told my husband and over the phone...he said WHAT HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!? I told him well you should know you were there!!! Do I really need to explain the details to you!? Then he started to laugh and apologized it was that he was so shocked because we had not been married long - only a few months. We made a wedding night baby....
I had morning sickness bad, I was throwing up all the time and every time I tried to eat meat or even smelled meat I threw up....I was only able to eat veggies and fish....and I craved tuna fish like crazy...I was eating it out of the can I wanted it so bad...My stomach grew soooooo big I couldn't do the laundry any more because I couldn't get close enough to the machine to grab from inside it....sideways I was too short to reach the inside....so we had to have our laundry taken out to be done...
The baby loved music and would move every time I would play something that was for dancing....the people upstairs had a party and apparently the baby thought it was invited because it moved all night long only stopping when the music did...
It also knew the hours my husband was working and would move around when it was time for him to get up for work, and would be still most of the day until it was time for him to come home....when I got so big and was trying to cuddle his back because it was snowing out the baby kicked really hard hitting his back waking him up....he demanded to know why I hit him...lol I told him wasn't me it was your baby...to which he rolled over and kissed my belly...
The day finally came for the baby to be born and I kept telling him I didn't feel right and I was having contractions we both thought they were false labor, so he went to work and I curled back up under the blanket to fall back to sleep a few more hours...at 7 am when I woke up because I felt a desperate need to use the restroom, I stood up and POP my water broke......but I didn't realize it was my water...I started to cry because I thought I had peed myself and I couldn't stop....I called for my mom who had come to be with me who was in the kitchen...I was so embarrassed I didn't call loudly at first...then I screamed for her to please bring me a towel so I could clean up the mess I was making....
My daughter was the best thing in the world....I couldn't put her down once I had her in my arms....the nurses had to pry her from my arms to take her to the nursery so I could have a break and shower or eat....I just loved her sooo much....and I always will...
