These soldiers should be arrested, tried in the court martial, displined,or pay for what they damaged. Accidents due happen every where in the world involving civilians and soldiers alike, heaven did not cave in. Soldiers in Nigeria should not take laws into their hands. Accidents should be handled by the police and not otherwise. Governor of Lagos State should contact relavant authorities in order that these soldiers serve as lesson to other soldiers who might be thinking that they are above the law.

It is sad indeed that this woman has to loose her life in this way. The government of rivers state must pay her family a substantial amount of money to help sustain her children even to the university education. It is how it is done in developed worlds, Nigeria should not be different. May her soul rest in peace, amen.

A woman making more money than the husband causes a lot of rifts between her and the husband. This situation is rampant among Nigerian nurses and their husbands in the USA. Women feel like  the breadwinner of the family, they have taken charge. The men will now do what they command them to do. But if a man makes more money than the woman, no problems. The man does not see it as anything but for a woman, it means a whole lot.

if the Nigerian police force believes in the rule law, dignity of their profession, and putting the image of the country above any person and the country being above any person as is done in developed countries, the guys must be prosecuted.  if not for any other thing, at least for holding the gun which is a contraband in Nigeria. Nobody is above the law including the people involved this matter.

My position on this topic was not referring to no individual but cultures in general. what a particular group are known for but your attack on me on this is totally uncalled for. Even your languages are the reasons why you wear those because those men that wear them in america are often times, ghetto and irresponsible. wear things meant for men and leave those for women for women.

wearing ear ring by men is more of an american thing than western culture stuff. Culturally, women wear ear ring in africa so for men to wear ear ring is foreign to africans. we should copy the good things out of the western culture like education, technology etc and not ear rings by men. even in america, men who ear rings are looked upon as irresponsible behaviour.

Nigeria is a dangerous country to live. How in the world can money be more important than life. How can those quack doctors and nurses compare money with the saving of life of a mother and the child? The worst part of it is that, they chose money instead of life. Again, those who said that they are legislators and government officials cannot show interest in things like this. This is sad indeed. In developed countries, patients are treated first before matters are discussed. Nigerian government does not copy good things happening abroad.

The organizers, the protocool officer, Chief okorocha and the police officer were all wrong. There is no way any of them behaved well. I believe that any seat reserved for one governor is also good for another governor to seat. The only thing the protocool officer should have done when okorocha came  in and took the reserved seat for Gov. Obi was to provide another seat for  Gov. Obi who was yet to arrive. Science is telling us that action and reaction are equal and opposite. The action of the protocool officer who wants a seating gov.( Gov.Okorocha ) to stand throughout the ocassion without making effort to prepare another seat for Gov. Okorocha prompted his reaction. Let us stop the blaming game and move on after all children of the same parents do fight each other and later make peace.

Both sides are guilty of the same offense however, it shouldn't cause anybody his or her life. Each side should learn to please one another including conversations to avoid going out. The woman in this case hould have gone after her husband instead of the mistress, because the husband went after her. May be the husband didn't tell her of his marriage.
