Do you think it is only men that change after marriage? I do not think so. I believe it is on both sides. There are so many reasons for this: One of them is if men lose their jobs and the women have to become the bread winners of the home, then danger looms. On the part of the women, if they are delay in giving birth or producing girls be rest assured there's going to be problems. On the other hand, if men become richer than they were before getting married and they allow this new status to get into their heads, change may come or if the women attain higher statuses the end result will be change. Though the change in question may be both positives or otherwise.

I agree with you that it is not African for a woman to make the first move. But my dear, time has changed and I believe our education should make us see beyond ous nose. If you have a strong feeling for a man  nothing stop you from walking to him and say, o brother, what a fine dress you have got! This simple comment will make him start thinking and if you continue with this before you know it he will be the one to ask you out. So, the ball is in your court, how you play it now depends on you. If you love someone genuinely and you are convinced about it, I advise do not hesistate to tell the person. I belive there is no need dying in silence. This is the greatest mistake we often make when we want something or have a strong feeling towards somebody instead of us approaching the person and telling her/him how we feel about him/her we will rather prefer to die in silence until he/she is taking away from us. It is then it dawns on us. So, go ahead and tell her how deep you love her, shikeena........
