EmbarrassedThe fact that governments all over the world steal does not in any way justify the colossal theft that we witness here in Nigeria, where anybody that finds himself in position of trust wants to be richer than the entire state he presides over. Take the case of corrupt governors who loot our treasuries and run to court to seek perpetual injunction stopping any existing being from investigating or arresting them.
It would appear that Nigerians seek public office only because of the opportunity it gives them to steal and ignore the basic principles of good governance.
NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT AT ALL LEVELS MUST CREATE JOB OR THE ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR JOB CREATION SO THAT OUR YOUTHS ARE NOT TEMPTED TO GO OUT INTO CRIME IN FOREIGN LANDS AND BRING SHAME TO THE REST OF US.
I am proud to be a Nigerian and will not want another person to rubbish my pride of place as a result of bad governance.
We must bring back these Nigerians before we blame them. May God give our rulers wisdom to pilot our affairs and reduce their quest for unlimited wealth.

Lets just pay and bring them back. The amount needed to bail them out is not one thenth of the amounts we are told public office holders in Nigeria steal for their personal use. Am not sure it is one tenth of the amount that was used by IBB to build his mansion in Minna just because he imposed himself on us as military president.
Now that he wants to come back and correct the evil things he did in the first mission, let him make the release of these folks a segment of his restitution.
OBJ can also redeem his own battered image by also playing a dominant role here for his father land. What is at stake now is the life of their constituencies - Nigeria and Nigerians.

I have a lot of sympathy for these guys not just because they are sentenced to death and may be killed unjustly, but because Nigeria did not give them the opportunity to develop here and be proud to be Nigerians.
supposed the governments of IBB, Abacha, Obasanjo etc etc had provided jobs at home for them, rather than awarding oil blocks to themselves and swimming in Harliburton booty, these poor fellows would have known that Nigeria is richer than Indonesia. Indonesians are coming to Nigeria as cheap labourers in multinational companies, yet our youths are going there to look for the dirty jobs rejected by the Indonesians only to be sentenced to death.
Let IBB and OBJ proceed to Indonesia to plead for their release because their poor managerial skill and grab-all syndrome led these men out of Nigeria.
