It's half cos anyone can pay the bills and anyone can do the obedience,  meaning if it happens that the wife is the provider cos some wives are, then the husband should be the one obeying her right? His ideas are absolutely nonsense to me, marriage is about equality,  respect and love from both sides not one half paying and the other half obeying no it's not true.
