Around this time last year, I took a poll on a newspaper’s Web site asking readers how many of them had been tested for HIV and AIDS. I was hoping I wouldn’t get many no’s, and unfortunately around 75 percent of the people who voted said they’d never been tested. I had a conversation with a married man about how discouraged I was by the results, and his response was that a lot of the readers are older and are probably married. I asked, “What does that have to do with anything? HIV and AIDS are not a young people’s disease or a single people’s disease.”
 
He responded by saying that he was married, had never been tested and was not cheating on his wife. I knew he wasn’t going to like my question, but I asked anyway. “How do you know she’s not cheating on you?” He scowled and said, “She better not be. While we agreed HIV-testing  should be a prerequisite before marriage, we were unable to agree on what should happen during marriage. I strongly feel that couples in marriage should get tested, not only before they decide to have a baby but periodically.

do you guys think it is okay for married couples to get tested even if they trust each other?
If President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama can proudly say on the radio that they get tested for HIV/AIDS every 6 month, why won’t other married couples do the same ?

Why do you see so many tall men (I’m classifying this as 6ft5 and over) dating short women?
If you see almost any picture of a US NBA star with their wife (such as Kevin Garnett or Kobe Bryant, pictured here), they always seem to tower metres above.  Even our English rugby stars are the same – just take a look at Simon Shaw!



Am 5'3 , weneva am walkin wif my 6'10 bf, we get a lot of attention from tall gurls and they tend to be vry jealous. Ok so this is kinda BS.  Yes I always have tried to stray away from having a bf that is that much taller, but you know what? When you fall in love, you fall in love, it’s not like your carrying around a tape measure making sure of the height difference. In the end it doesn’t really matter. Like my bf alwaz says: the shorter the woman THE TIGHTER SHE IS, and the taller the man, THE BIGGER HE IS!
