CPP AKWA IBOM STATE CHAPTER URGE OTHER POLITICAL PARTIES TO WITHDRAW FROM TRIBUNAL OR COURT CASES OVER THE JUST CONCLUDED ELECTION AND SUPPORT GOVERNOR GODSWILL AKPABIO ADMINISTRATION FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE STATE.

The state committee members on research, planning and statistics call on other political parties in the state to make a u turn from court cases and support Akpabio administration for effective and efficient political governance since the process of having the ground to win an election candidates most meet the sociological techniques attach with Political Marketing Strategies and Democracy in Nigeria. The state secretary Mr. nsima Inyang said this yesterday at a round table discussion with the executive member of CPP Ikono Chapter, he urge all political parties to note that, Political organizations often want to win election contests. This consequently makes them to work out means through which this can be done. In the process they are faced with the problem of choosing the correct and best means to achieve this result. We early set up committee on research, planning and statistics and working committees to carry out effective monitoring and evaluation so that we can engage the government of the day to conduct credible election, most to aid examining if there is best political marketing strategy across political parties (organizations) can rely on in winning elections. Though the examining whether differences exist in the methods through which political organizations maximize voter’s support any electorates in the state had complex from selected Local Government Areas which don’t even understand how candidate can win an election couple with the party having manifesto for their campaign. Also trough randomly distributed questionnaire to the selected respondents in all the local government areas in the state, Stepwise regression the Result indicates that Voter’s support is the best political marketing strategy used by Political
Parties (organizations), followed by Positive Publicity to win elections. It was also revealed that the methods used by political parties to maximize voter’s support are in different proportion and variance, for instance, in the
Last local government election some parties presenting credible and acceptable candidate for election was the method through which political organization should maximizes its voter’s support. We then recommend that the use of money to influence electorates’ voting behaviour should be discouraged and campaign information needs to be reliable and dependable amongst others.

Before now, we were expecting other political parties to realize the importance of marketing Communication in the dissemination of political messages. But like a new dawn in the political landscape of Akwa Ibom State, Prince Sunday Akpan, State Chairman, Citizens Popular Party, flagged off a campaign to reform the party with the aim of repositioning the party for positive values and review on time why we should withdraw our candidate in support of governor Akpabio second team in office base on his performance though political parties are not carry along yet . last week at the general house meeting The chairman, alongside with some members of the State Executive Council of the party, unveiled to a cross section of Nigerian and citizens of the state and state media, a new campaign that will Restore True Values of democracy in Nigeria. The campaign, according to the chairman, aims among others to Improve Political brand awareness, brand acceptance pan Nigeria politics. He implored party members to embrace this new positioning statement that would engender equal opportunity for all come 2015.
In this regard, Conversely, this emphasizes the importance of the role of political marketing research that will plays as a handy tool to show the political candidate marketer the direction to follow.
The re-branding of the Nigerian politician may appear better focused to achieve the desired result if located in the context of the political marketing map as developed. The state committees member of Ikono local governmeot area thank him and Continuing, to urge the state excutive to work on this development, as this is so important because it is the combined effect of the totality of political marketing activities, including research and advertising that are capable of giving effect to any attempt to brand or re-brand a product, service, social cause or politicians, which manifests in opinion polling,” Apart from deployment of political marketing research to reposition Nigerian politicians, we will point out that advertising and advertising play significant role in re-branding the Nigerian politician without this, whom he described as unpatriotism, lazy, greed y and corrupt democracy governance.
He explained that re-branding the state politicians can be done by several stakeholders, as such initiative begins with politician himself. “Rebranding the state politician can be done by several stakeholder actors: It can be by the Nigerian politicians at the national level also and for himself/herself by imbibe the idea and. It can be by the candidate handlers. It can be by the political parties. It can be by the civil society organisations or specific relevant government agencies such as National Orientation Agency, Federal and State Ministries of information, EFCC, ICPC.” Drawing alienation between political parties re-branding and the politician, he said, ‘the motto or services of parties some parties don’t know what their motto signified which shows such parties are lifeless and political marketing experts can do whatever they want, but Politicians are living humans. Party’s agenda do not talk, but its thee politicians that talk. Parties agenda do not have feelings, while politicians have feelings. Parties agenda do not behave or act while politicians behave.” “The essence is to pass the message across to our members all over the world and to change the wrong perception people have of the party. The world socio political environment is changing for good and we can’t afford to continue in our primordial ways of doing things. The time for change is now.
