No be a matter of which one be una own....the truth is when someone attains celebrity status he/she is being looked up to as a role model therefore he ought to behave appropriately in mannerisms, dress code, etiquette, decorum etc...at least in the Nigerian context....If you misbehave as a role model and exhibit unacceptable behavior or dress anyhow, what do you want the youths, fans and other people who look up to you to do.....By the way many people just dress that way and don't even know how it originated....That dress code of "dropped down jeans and showing pants" originated in the early 90's in American prisons when gay male men are trying to show off their bums so that their other gay men could find them attractive and will be eager to engage them in sex....In my wildest dream that is not a dress code to emulate...never ever..God forbid! |
