Friends , i have seen a lot of scholars try to dispute the Bible and its contents to be lies But they have all failed to prove that the Bible is false . Psychologist . Paul vitz who later believe in God said in this video on youtube : Atheism: Why People Don't Believe In God

The Bible is the only book in history that has been debated , scrutinize & argued upon but stood the test of time for years now and still maintains its value as the most proven book of life and history . it is not a secret that the Bible is being preach all over the world with boldness and you can't tell me that those preaching the gospel has not study or done any research on the book they draw their inspiration and faith from I think there are so many reason why people don't believe in God and the Bible can easily be trace to people who don't want to believe , or people who don't know the truth or people who choose not to know God I see also people who use to believe in God but are now angry with God because of so many things that has happen in our world today , because of something that has happen in their lives I see also people who want to live their life any how they want without any Biblican principles or a book telling them how to live and how not to live it is dimensional in finding people who do not believe in God and the believe while some people cannot explain the true reason for their unbelieve if it were easy as you claim to prove the Bible is fake many scholars could have done it on national tv as this is a debate that no one can win for God except God himself to prove that the battle is not ours but his to prove his word to be spirit & Live

WHAT IT THE BIBLE
The Bible (from Greek τὰ βιβλία ta biblia "the books") is a collection of sacred scripture of both Judaism and Christianity. There is no single version: both the individual books (Biblical canon) and their order vary. The Hebrew Bible contains 24 books that were rearranged into 39 by Christian denominations, while complete Christian Bibles range from the 66 books of the Protestant canon to 81 books in the Ethiopian Orthodox Bible.[1] The oldest surviving Christian Bibles are Greek manuscripts from the 4th century; the oldest complete Jewish Bible is a Greek translation, also dating to the 4th century. The oldest complete manuscripts of the Hebrew Bible (the Masoretic text) date from the Middle Ages.[2]
The Hebrew Bible, or Tanakh, is divided into three parts: (1) the five books of the Torah ("teaching" or "law") comprise the origins of the Israelite nation, its laws and its covenant with the God of Israel; (2) the Nevi'im ("prophets") containing the historic account of ancient Israel and Judah plus works of prophecy; and (3) the Ketuvim ("writings"), poetic and philosophical works such as the Psalms and the Book of Job.[3] Christian Bibles include the books of the Hebrew Bible, but arranged in a different fashion: Hebrew Scripture ends with the people of Israel restored to Jerusalem and the temple and the Christian arrangement ends with the book of the prophet Malachi.
The Christian Bible is divided into two parts. The first is called the Old Testament, containing the 39 books of Hebrew Scripture, and the second portion is called the New Testament, containing a set of 27 books. During the three centuries following the establishment of Christianity in the 1st century, Church Fathers compiled Gospel accounts and letters of apostles into a Christian Bible which became known as the New Testament. The Old and New Testaments together are commonly referred to as "The Holy Bible". The canonical composition of the Jewish Bible is in dispute between Christian groups: Protestants hold only the books of the Hebrew Bible to be canonical; Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox additionally consider the deuterocanonical books, a group of Jewish books, to be canonical. The New Testament is composed of the Gospels ("good news"), the Acts of the Apostles, the Epistles (letters), and the Book of Revelation.
If counted as a single book, the Bible is the best-selling book in history with approximate sales estimates ranging in the billions.[clarification needed][4]

7  Forum / Sports / Re: Kanu slams Amodu on: 12-02-2010 06:07 PM
It is only in sports especially in football , particularly in Nigeria that i hear people trying to force players to retire even when they are now playing the best of their game with more experience than a lot of zeal without knowledge football is all about experience and fitness , Kanu is fit to his own ability to play for Nigeria he even proved his experience and fitness in the last match we played with Algeria we cannot deny his contribution on that match that gave us the 3rd place
The fact is that Amodu cannot make money from kanu and use more of those he can make money from even when they are not doing well

Coming to look at it from the right point of view i think the boy's father did play the role of a good father and a good Nigerian trying to redeem his own image and Nigeria as well by informing the US embassy of his son's extremist aspirations , Yes Nigeria has been marked for the first time its citizen is trying to blow up an American plane with al qaeda links but this is more of a devilish mind terrorist act which shouldn't affect the image of Nigeria as a whole or any Nation whose citizen has been involve in terrorist activities as we also know that some US citizens have been involve with terrorist activities against their own country and with links to al qaeda . Terrorist is one of the evils facing our world today just like poverty , corruption , illegal drugs , slavery etc.

My only answer to this is that you people are blessed to have such a country and system that works for the people and by the people over there in Nigeria before i left Government is for the president, for his family and friends they promise us bridges where there are no rivers we vote but in vain Nigeria is like a big hall where you are left alone to shout and cry but your voice returns back to you as an echo

We also bear in mind that for many years now Nigeria has been ruled by the same group of people where we change government without changing governance and you hardly find a good or even Christians among them THIS IS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH WHICH ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE
19  Forum / Politics / Between 1960 and 1999, Nigerian officials had stolen or wasted more than $440 bi on: 28-07-2009 10:53 AM
Between 1960 and 1999, Nigerian officials had stolen or wasted more than $440 billion. That is six times the Marshall Plan, the total sum needed to rebuild a devastated Europe in the aftermath of the Second World War.
On a regional dimension, it is estimated that some $20 billion leaves Africa annually through the illicit export of money extorted from development loan contracts. This money is deposited in overseas banks by a network of politicians, civil servants and businessmen. This figure is now roughly equal to the entire amount of aid from the US to Sub-Saharan Africa every year.

In 2003, almost 100,000 barrels of oil was stolen daily; by 2005•6, we had managed to reduce this to 10,000 barrels per day. We also secured convictions for kidnappers in the Delta, who were driving the cycle of violence and bribery with the private oil companies.
The UK’s Commission for Africa estimates that the assets stolen from the continent and held in foreign bank accounts amount to $93 billion. If Africa can succeed in tracing and repatriating such stolen wealth, the next chapter in the story may truly turn a new page, and the days of aid dependency can start to wane.
