A housewife in the Igbodo community of Delta State, identified as Mrs Evelyn Obiomah, has been sent out of her matrimonial home over her strong body odour.
Trouble began for her, a mother of two, when her husband, a prominent farmer in the area married a second wife and began to pick constant quarrel with her. Soon after taking his new wife, the husband had threatened to make life unbearable for his first wife.
The woman was dragged before the elders in the community to settle the quarrel between she and her husband but could not reach amicable settlement. A source in the area disclosed that the problem between the woman and her husband further degenerated when the first wife allegedly attacked the second wife. A substance suspected to be adulterated water was said to have been poured on the first wife which later developed into serious rashes...
She was said to have treated the issue lightly only to have observed few weeks later that a pervasive offensive body odour had subsequently taken over her entire body. Now her husband has sent her parking.
Speaking to Leadership in Delta State, the woman said: “I have used several drugs to no avail as the odour continues in a very offensive way that has removed me from my husband’s house.”
President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday declared that there is no hiding place for members of the dreaded terrorist group Boko Haram that have unleashed untold mayhem on innocent Nigerians. The enemies of humanity, he said, must be fished out and brought to justice.
“For those who take pleasure in seeing innocent human beings in pains, to see limbs being shattered and blood flowing in all directions after terror attacks, we say, you shall have no hiding place. Nigerians will expose you. The people of conscience around the world have rejected you,” the president stated while inaugurating the Boko Haram Victims Support Funds.
But the chairman of the committee, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (rtd) promptly rejected the president’s advice that they should go everywhere including the dreaded Sambisa forest...
Sambisa is where the Boko Haram sect are holding the abducted Chibok schoolgirls captive and Danjuma said they wont go anywhere near the forest except President Jonathan who is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces chooses to take them there.
Jonathan cried out again, saying: “They have killed and maimed and struck fear into law-abiding citizens. They have destroyed villages, attacked property and terminated people’s livelihoods without a care in the world.
“They have engaged our security agencies in a meaningless warfare that has wasted unimaginable human and material resources.
“The reality today is that we are confronted with individuals whose minds have been so twisted and tutored to believe they are doing God a service.”
In his remarks, chairman of the committee TY Danjuma stated that the Boko Haram sect seemed to be having the upper hand, recalling that he had earlier pointed out that what the country was facing was more deadly than the civil war.
Danjuma, a former defence minister, said: “One thing we will not do is to go to Sambisa forest. The commander-in-chief will lead and we will follow the commander-in-chief.
“This war must be brought to an end. We must win this war immediately. It is taking too long. I called it civil war when it began, and people said it’s insurgency. The insurgents appear to be having the upper hand at this very moment. They pick and choose where to strike; they are even holding positions and displacing us.
“We must win this war, Mr President; we must do so immediately. We will raise the funds, we will disburse it. I promise you we will do so diligently and transparently but we must win this war, Mr President. May God bless our country.”

A Chinese waitress has shocked diners at the restaurant where she worked after she picked up a dead cockroach and ate it right it in front of them.
The bizarre incident began when a man, surnamed Zhang, went to a restaurant in Jinsha Era Plaza in Sichuan and found a cockroach in his salad. When Zhang complained about the cockroach, female staff, Jin Kuo, 39, instead engaged him in a heated argument, telling him it was 'perfectly normal' to find a cockroach in a restaurant.
Amazed at the waitress' claim, one of the people who was with Zhang as a guest grabbed his mobile phone and started to video the bizarre incident. The waitress was heard saying: 'No matter which restaurant you go to, you will always find cockroaches in the food. It is very normal.'
Enraged at her attitude, Zhang told her that if it was so normal, she should eat it to solve the problem, and then there would not need to any need to argue. But to his amazement, that was exactly what the waitress did. She picked the cockroach off the side of his plate, put it into her mouth before swallowing it.

Driverless car technology introduces the potential for criminal “multitasking,” and the cars themselves could be turned into “lethal weapons” by evildoers, the FBI warned in secret documents unearthed by reporters at The Guardian.
“Autonomy … will make mobility more efficient,” the papers, which came out of the FBI’s Strategic Issues Group, apparently read, “but will also open up greater possibilities for dual-use applications and ways for a car to be more of a potential lethal weapon that it is today.”
The report found that the technological autonomy that drivers concede to the vehicles’ systems could, one day, be compromised remotely by hackers. And even if a bad guy in a car chase is himself behind the wheel, he could engage in harmful multitasking, like firing a weapon at pursuant law enforcement as the car drove him away.
And the suits in D.C. may be on to something. The potential of driverless cars being meddled with was a topic discussed at last year’s Def Con hacker conference. Whether it’s by way of GPS manipulation or simply tricking the number of sensors around the vehicle, “like everything else humans ever made, [driverless cars are] going to get hacked,” one speaker said.
A notorious 8-man robbery gang who specializes in dressing as women to rob unsuspecting men has been nabbed in Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria.

An unsuspecting womanizer would easily fall into their traps seeing their feminine faces made-up with cosmetics, with weave-on hairdo that dangles on both sides of their broad shoulders.
Their coated lips look inviting. No doubt, countless men must have fallen prey to them. Many passersby who thronged the state headquarters of the Police command at Eleiyele, Ibadan to catch a glimpse of these attractive “women” could not hide their disbelief.
Though, their chests were flat which should convince doubting Thomases that the suspects were not women, some still insisted on seeing their private parts due to their looks.
But, behind these deceptive looks are more than meets the ordinary eye. The hearts of both Omooba Oyewole and Lawal Kabir are fortified with cold steel. They are suspected dare-devil robbers. If they have conscience, it must be made of solid concrete.
One of the suspects, Lawal Kabir whose eyelids blink momentarily like a doll in the old Kingsway Store claims to be a devout Muslim and considers only Fridays and the Ramadan period as sacred days in the whole year when he thinks he should not engage in armed robbery.
These days, especially Fridays, he said, he would go to the mosque to pray to God to forgive all his criminal tendencies only to continue his devilish acts thereafter. In fact, the suspect said he was arrested on Friday after observing the Jumat prayers.
Given their looks, one needed no soothsayer to discern that the suspects had carried out numerous deadly attacks on their victims even though they admitted to have participated in no fewer than four successful robbery operations.
According to them, they had made people cry in places like Osun, Sawmill, Iyana-Agbala and other places when they unleashed terror on them. Knowing their days of reckoning had finally come, the eight-man gang confessed some of the crimes they had committed to Crime Alert.
Ayodele Olaitan, who wore a mask, one of the tools they use in their nefarious activities shook his head in regret and said: “It was my friends that pushed me into this. I joined the gang sometime ago and I have participated in at least three robbery operations.
I am not the owner of the mask you see on me. It belongs to one of us called pastor. He is dead now. I regret all my actions. I didn’t realize we could be caught. But, now the game is up, “ he said as he burst into tears.
Like other criminals, Lawal Kabir said he was pushed into the criminal world as a result of an unsuccessful business venture. “I took to robbery when my plumbing work was not booming.
Three years after my freedom as an apprentice, I tried all I could to make both ends meet, but things did not work for me. I first stayed in Lagos before I later came to Ibadan where I was introduced to a gang of armed robbers. I have participated in four armed robbery attacks.
I went with them to Osun State, Ibadan, Sawmill and Iyana -Agbala. I was arrested on Friday after I finished praying in the mosque. Somebody we call a pastor, also a member of the gang called me without knowing the police had already arrested him.
I don’t rob on Fridays and during Ramadan. I used those periods to pray to God to forgive me my sins. I know what I was doing was wrong but it was difficult for me to break away from it.”
Another member of the gang, Biola Alaba who wore a weave-on hairdo said they were eight in number and that they were arrested at a drinking joint while preparing to carry out a robbery operation at Bodija area of the city. He denied ever killing any of their victims.
“How can I commit two sins at the same time. I cannot rob and kill at the same time. It is unfair to rob someone of his belongings and kill him. We don’t even rape our victims, “ he said.
As for Sunday Omooba from Ogbomoso who says he is a member of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, he narrated how he took charge of the armoury for the gang. “I helped them get bullets through one man. I just call the man any time I need bullets for the gang.
I don’t rob with them. In fact, I did not know that they were using the bullets to rob. I also supplied that pump action gun to them. I bought the gun for N70,000 from a friend. If I knew that they would use the weapons for robbery, I would not give them.”
The Investigating Police Officer in charge of the case alleged that Omooba supplied the pump action gun and killed the owner of the gun so that he could get the gun from him and did not give the money he promised to give him.
Other suspects who are car snatchers including those who bought the stolen vehicles from them were also arrested in Kaduna and Kano. Two of the suspects, Dolapo Olayinka and Yusuf Ibrahim, robber and accomplice respectively; gave their own accounts. Olayinka said he only used his commercial motorcycle to convey the robbers who dispossessed people of their items. He recalled how they crossed a woman’s vehicle and took N20,000 from her at gun point.
The owners of the stolen vehicles were at the police command to identify their vehicles. All of them pleaded anonymity for fear of being attacked by yet-to-be-identified members of the gang.
One of them said his car, a Toyota Camry, was snatched at gunpoint on October 1, last year around 8pm and he reported at the Special Anti robbery squad.
He specifically commended the efforts of one SP Sola Aremu, the O/C SARS, Ogbomoso and his boys for going ahead to recover the car. He said: “I am full of thanks to the police. I never thought I could recover my car again. The SARS in Ogbomoso acted promptly. I have never seen police work like that.”
The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Indabawa said, “sequel to tip-offs about a criminal hideout at a mechanic village, Iyana Church, Ibadan, a raid was organized and SARS operatives arrested the following suspected armed robbers: Olaitan Ayodele, Abiola Alaba, Oyewole Ogunwole, Adedeji Mustapha, Omooba Oyewole and Adedeji Mustapha. On interrogation, they all confessed to their past and present crimes within and outside Oyo State. They also confessed to have attacked and robbed two police officers.
All the people they confessed to have robbed were contacted and they corroborated their confessions.
In order to recover some of their loot as well as arms and ammunition, a search was conducted in the house of the leader of the gang, one Ayodele Olaitan along Airport Road, Ibadan and the following exhibits were recovered; one pump action gun, one English cut-to-size double barrel gun, one single-barrel gun, locally made cylinders and many others. While several people in Nigeria are mourning the death of their loved ones due to incessant terrorists attack, a Senator somewhere in Borno is working full time to make sure the attacks continue.
The man in question is Senator Ndume who is currently on trial at an Abuja High Court for empowering Boko Haram through funding and other support.
According to Point Blank, investigations have revealed the role allegedly played by Senator Ndume in the death of Major Timothy Fambiya, who led the operation that led to the death of the leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau.
The Nigerian Airforce in Borno State recently bombed Senator Ndume’s convoy of vehicles on his way to his village on suspicion that he was attending a meeting with the insurgents.
It was gathered that the senator was angered by the deployment of Major Timothy Fambiya, an indigene of Gwoza in Gwoza Local Government Council of Borno State to eradicate the sect members and halt their activities in the area. The area falls within Senator Ndume’s Senatorial District and is predominantly Christian.
Ndume, a Muslim, could not come to terms with a Christian soldier routing a sect he sympathizes with. He believes a Christian soldier sent to lead the Government forces against the sect is war against Muslims.
Although there are many accounts of the circumstances surrounding Shekau’s death, he is believed to have been killed in Gwoza Hills by a contingent of Special Forces led by Major A.T. Fambiya. Fambiya is reckoned to be one of the best Special Forces officers in the Nigerian military, who grew up in Gwoza and understood the rocky terrain.
Further investigations revealed that it was Major Fambiya that delivered the fatal shot that sent Shakau reeling in Gwoza Hills during a fierce battle but the Boko Haram leader did not die immediately. He was severally moved to Mali and later Cameroon where he gave up the ghost. His aides, who sought to create the impression that he was still alive to sect members, hurriedly buried him.
Following Shekau’s death, an infuriated Senator Ndume had allegedly contracted the second in command to Major Fambiya, Captain Ibrahim Jamare, to eliminate him. Captain Jamare, who had briefed the Senator on the circumstances surrounding Shakau’s shooting , was allegedly paid N60 million by the Senator to eliminate the major.
While on a return mission to Gwoza Hills still in search of Shekau, Captain Jamare had shot Major Fambiya at the back of the head while he was observing something with binoculars.
The military had in a brief ceremony at the Nigerian Military Cemetary in Abuja declared that Major Fambiya was one of the best special forces officer in Nigeria. “He was killed in action on June 26, 2013 in a fierce encounter with Boko Haram terrorists”.
The Major’s suspicious killing had prompted his brother Iliya Joshua to call on military authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
Over 400 hundred people including women and children were killed last month in Ngoshe and Atagara by insurgents, who hoisted a flag at the Gwoza Local Government Area. The insurgents disguised as soldiers had called the residents to come out to discuss peaceful co-existence in the area. Unkonwn to the residents, they were surrounded by the insurgents, who opened fire on them killing all that gathered at the village square, who were mostly Christians.
The burning of residential houses, churches and schools have continued until a recent deployment of soldiers in the area.
Purchase of 400 Golf Cars
Security agencies are also working on the lead that Senator Ndume had purchased 400 Golf cars for insurgents disguised as empowerment for his constituents. Golf cars have been used in several bomb explosions in Maiduguri, Yobe, Bauchi, Gombe and Abuja.
Further investigations revealed that insurgents and new recruits were offered a golf car or N500,000.00 to procure the vehicles themselves by the senator. The recruitment drive is disguised as one of his constituency empowerment projects.
Most of the insurgents are said to have migrated to Abuja and are now domiciled in Waru and Wasa villages, some kilometres from the National Assembly Quarters where they wait to be called upon to carry out car/suicide bombings.

Construction completed in Canaanland till date is estimated to be not less than $600 million (N90 billion) with an additional Canaan City Estate currently under construction which will be the largest housing estate in Africa and easily one of the largest in the world with 15,000 housing units and at a cost of N250 billion or $1.6 billion. This is part of a grander scheme of 150,000 houses to be built by the church.”

The estimate was that if a worshipper pays at least N100 during their four services weekly on Sunday, their over one million members would have paid N100 million. And an average of 500,000 of the worshippers fulfilling their tithes every Sunday with an average of N1,000 is N5 million. If we add the offering and tithe annually that’s N600 million times 52 weeks and that’s N31.2 billion annually. But note that even an individual at times paid several millions on a Sunday as tithe,” a source divulged.
As an educationist, Bishop David Oyedepo’s mission currently pioneers the establishment of educational institutions at all levels in and outside Nigeria, including the widely established Hebron or Covenant University with over 7,000 students as well as Faith Academy with 1,500 students both in Canaanland. Covenant University was well documented in a Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) documentary on Nigeria’s 50th Independence Anniversary because of landmark achievements in its few years of existence. Covenant University was adjudged the best private university in Nigeria in 2005, and one of the goals of the institution is to be among the best in the world by or before 2020.
According to Bishop Oyedepo, “Covenant University is not just an institution, it is a revolution in education.”
Faith Academy on the other hand placed fourth of all secondary schools in Nigeria during the 2010 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE). The second university of the church known as Landmark University in Omu Aran, Kwara State, was approved by the Nigerian Government in March 2011 and immediately resumed academic activities the same month with about 1000 students. Construction at Landmark University is estimated to be in the realm of at least $50 million (N7 billion) so far, while Bishop Oyedepo insists that ‘spending continues’. Landmark University (LU) has the mandate of spearheading an agrarian revolution in Nigeria. Bishop David Oyedepo stated in August 2010 that it takes a ride of more than 100km to go around the walls of Landmark University. Landmark University is 1,400 acres. The third one under construction is Crown University in Calabar, Cross River State. There are strong plans for about four more universities across Africa including Abuja, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo and Kenya as announced by Bishop Oyedepo during Shiloh 2007.
1,000 acres have already been acquired for the university in Ghana, while 300 hectares (about 750 acres) have been acquired for the Congo university and this is going to be a French speaking university. Recently, President Yahya Jammeh of The Gambia appealed to the World Mission Agency (WMA) of the Living Faith Church to build a university in The Gambia.
Some other projects that were announced during the initial foundation laying in Canaanland in 1999, include a towering administrative headquarters and a 500 bed hospital among many other projects.
Winners’ Chapel also runs a chain of about 30 secondary schools and over 50 primary and nursery schools in Nigeria. The secondary schools are known as Faith Academies except those within the universities known as Covenant University and Landmark University Secondary Schools respectively. The nursery and primary schools are known as Kingdom Heritage Model Schools (KHMS). Some of the secondary schools are in Badagry, Iyana Ipaja, Ibadan, Asaba, Kaduna, Ilorin and Osogbo. The mission is presently working on building at least a secondary school each in every country in Africa.

Goshen is complete with a dual-carriage way running through the 740 acre facility with street lightning as well as a housing estate with over 45 housing units among others and all these were constructed in only 15 months. There are plans for a university to be built in Goshen. Goshen is now the mission headquarters of the Living Faith Church. It is worth over N15 billion.

The man pictured above identified as Lawrence Ugwu is currently in SSS custody for sending out text messages of intention to attack by Boko Haram.
According to SSS, Lawrence specialises in sending panic messages about Boko Haram terrorists to any company that refuses to hire him.
He was nabbed after sending out another text messages to some hotels in Abuja as a Boko Haram terrorist.
He was tracked down and arrested.
During interrogation, Lawrence opened up that he employed the gimmick because the management of one of the organisation failed to offer him employment.
He also said he plan to instill fear in those company and pleaded with SSS that he’s not a real terrorist.
As at the time of this report, Lawrence is being interrogated in preparation for his court case.
