| | A 15-year-old boy who raped a 4-year-old girl, Jennifer Iteze, has been freed as the family of the rape victim who couldn’t pay the sum of N4,000, which according to Family Law Centre, Abakaliki was to be used for opening the case file.
The rape case of the 4-year-old girl was brought to Ebonyi State’s Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. The Ministry’s Head of Department, Child Development, Godwin Igwe, revealed that Iteze was brought to his office, by the father alongside a consultant physician from the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, who confirmed the rape upon some medical examinations.

| | While we await the result of the Kogi bye-election which was held today, it was gathered that 3 onions were shared to voters by politicians who sought place in the Federal constituency.
Twitter user @IsimaOdeh who shared the report, wrote;
They are sharing THREE ONIONS each for votes in the Federal Constituency bye election in Kogi State. This is how lowly Politicians view Nigerians. What an insult!
Daily Post also reported that the bye-election to fill the vacant seat for Kogi/Koto-Karfe Federal Constituency, was also characterized by buying of votes from the electorate. At some polling units visited in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, some political parties were spotted inducing voters with money ranging from N3,000, N5000, N10,000, to win their votes.
Voters, who could not get physical cash, were given food items such as onions, tomato paste all packed inside a small bag crested with the insignia of the party they were expected to vote for during the exercise. There was however massive turnout of voters and huge deployment of security operatives for a hitch-free exercise.
Polling units such as Lokoja Local Government secretariat, Bishop Crowther School, Lokoja Ward C, Yaraji open space, Felele primary school, and Inuwa Ndagaza, all had their fair share of vote buying.

| For about a year, a lot of people speculated that there was friction between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. However, the feud was only confirmed at the beginning on September when things popped off after the two got into a physical altercation. Shortly after, Cardi B addressed her issues with Nicki in an Instagram post where she accused the “Barbie Dreamz” rapper of “stopping her bag.” Now, Nicki Minaj is capitalizing off of the phrase with her latest merch line.Nicki Minaj simultaneously threw shade while capitalizing off of her feud with Cardi B. Nicki revealed her new “Nicki Stopped My Bag” merchandise line earlier today. The merch line includes pink and black bags with the phrase on it, as well as t-shirts and a jacket.
