You lack knowledge in this matter. Your statements are baseless and uninformed. Initially, you claimed that his family received a power plant as a gift. Can you even comprehend the absurdity of such a notion? Why would someone gift a power plant to an individual? Why weren't you gifted one then? Adeleke entered the energy business long before Otedola. He has been involved in that industry for a significant period of time. It is a significant aspect of David's father's business. No one simply gifts a power plant to another person. Please refrain from speaking nonsensically. The privatization of power plants by GEJ does not imply that individuals in the power sector were given them as gifts. I believe David is a young individual who is aware of his family's capabilities and possessions. At his level, he sits down with his father to discuss business interests. The boy is a billionaire in Naira and can comfortably engage in business discussions with his father. His father would not exclude him from the family business. He would have educated all his children about it. Are you blind? Did you not read where he mentioned "me and my family"? What does that indicate to you? He has already invested in the same business and has a stake in the family business. Claiming that he is ignorant of what he is saying is laughable. You are the one who is blindly entering into a topic you know nothing about. Your assertion is incredibly irritating. Your comment lacks any sense. All I see is someone who is overly nosy.
You know the problem with some of you?? Just because you've got phone and data, you feel entitled to enter a public space and insult someone you know absolutely nothing about. I worked in the Nigerian power for well over 10years, yes, more than ten years. If I talk about the Nigerian power sector, you can only sit down and learn, unless you are in the sector too and have been in it more than me. I have not insulted Davido or his family in anyway, I only stated the obvious, what gave you the audacity to be unruly towards me is what I don't understand. I said the Nigerian state owns ALL the power plants in Nigeria, yes that is true. I also said GEJ privatized them to his friends and family, yes that's also true. I already used the word "privatized", so when I said "dashed", if you understand simple semantics, you'd have known I was being ironical. And besides, do you have any idea how "privatizations" are done in Nigeria?? Do you?? I bet you don't! There's hardly any form of privatization that the Nigerian state benefits from, the government in power just virtually put their friends in charge of Nigerian assets and call it privatization. I have nothing against Davido or his family, in fact I don't even know them, I am just stating simple facts that anybody that has worked in the Nigerian power sector knows. So keep your sentiments away and learn by asking other people who knows about the power sector in Nigeria.
