22  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: Marriage with little resources! on: 17-09-2009 04:31 PM
this very topic just caused very heated argument amongst 7 men inside our office. for myself, i believe that a man should have means of livelihood before marriage. yes, marriage is not all about money but money is very important for survival. am not saying you must be millionaire but at least have something doing that at the end of the day/month, you have something in your pocket, so you can take care of your family. so my dear, before marriage try and find a means of steady income, no matter how little (though not too little).

Charlydyke, you are right bros but i hope you know that FG gives 13% to the region which goes into the pocket of the rich few. Even if the FG gives them 50% it might not change the trend.

Themilitants should first give peace a chance. Have you been to PH, have you witnessed any of the attacks? guy fighting and destroying everything will NEVER make good their plight.

@sammyrock, the presence of JTF is ironically the saving grace of the so called ORDINARY CIVILIANS.
13% is not up to the recommended standard. i think it is around 25%. let the govt give it to them and control how it is being used. that is why they are govrenment. after that, any other agitation will be criminal.
And bros mind u that there are genuine(those fighting d N/Delta course) and fake militants. some of the attacks in the cities are done by some criminal elements & opportunists who take advantage of the problem to pepertrate evil.

there is no how the civilians won't be affected.let mr president ask the militantswhat they want and negotiate things with them instead of doing things his own way.he should remember that themilitants are still nigerians.THERE MUST BE SOMETHING THEY ARE UP TO.

i think the government already know what they want. they are fighting for certain percentage of the income from crude oil, which is recommended internationally. every other oil producing countries are adhering to that standard except Nigeria. let the govt give them their right and this problem will be fixed forever. shooting innocent and defenceless civillians will never solve the problem but it will even make it worse.

this is very sad that a whole Nigeria is on the verge of missing out in the world cup the second consecutive time. i think this is high time the NFF stops politicizing football in this country. for God' sake, football is one and the only thing that unites this country. this people know where our problem is and that is COACHING. let them get a sound coach for super eagles, a coach that has the ability to bring out the action in our players. till they stop politics and personal interst in our football, we will keep on performing below expectation.

i believe it can last for 3-4yrs no matter how inferior it is. if a brand new car bought for N400,000.00 gives you good service for 4yrs, i think it's ok. afterall, i've seen people hiring a car for N70,000 per day.
35  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Nigerians will be able to buy brand new cars for just N400,000 on: 7-07-2009 09:36 AM
can't wait for that time to come. but it will definitely increase the traffic problems in the cities. so everybody should start preparing for it. dguy, u re doin a great job.

number one reason for sex is for procreation. then comes the fun of it. every normal human being supposed to enjoy sex. infact, if u don't enjoy sex, know that something is wrong somewhere. sex keep couples together and make the love they have for each other stronger. this does'nt mean we should abuse it. remember, sex is meant for legally married people only. so, if u re not married, please zip up.
