Halleluyah, my people....the judiciary is waking up finally!
12  Forum / Politics / Rauf Aregbesola is Osun State Governor on: 26-11-2010 03:04 PM
Justices of the Federal Appeal Court, Ibadan have declared the candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Rauf Aregbesola, winner of the 2007 governorship election in Osun State and ordered that he be sworn in as governor by 12 noon tomorrow.

The judgment brings to end the Peoples Democratic Party government headed by Olagunsoye Oyinlola, who the judges said have been governing the state illegally since 2007.

Following the declaration of Mr Oyinlola as winner of the 2007 election, Mr Aregbesola went to court to challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission's decision.

Prior to the judgement, the two sides had argued their briefs at the last sitting of the court on November 1 when the five-member appeal panel, led by Clara Ogunbiyi reserved judgement on the matter.

There is already wild jubilation across Osun State and civil servants are noticed closing their offices to go home for the weekend.

please, judge based on your own interest and make sure you have your dictionary by your side as you watch the video

Which of these two is the best user of big grammar from the Thesaurus Dictionary?

I'm embarrassed for these two. I wonder what the Queen of England would make of these my fellow country people. I didn't know people like that are still in Nigeria. Their grammar blow up power stations.I guess that's why there's constant power failure in Nigeria. Jesus, please save us from our grammatically elokpacious, show-off-cious, fooling-themselves-cious, mumbo-jumbo, attention-grabbing, make-no-sense-cious grammarians. Even me have a headache from my small attempt to copy-cat Obahiagbon & Okotie

I Hope you all find these people interesting, they are sure going to entertain you with their Grammatical complacency, one of them (Obahiagbon) was quoted with these words..."That is an argumentative fallacy that borders on the gem of fallacy called petitio principii--begging the question-- and that has anchorage in another fallacious gem of post ad-hoc ego prompter."
This guys are highly entertaining!
