1. Using a USB cable

This requires you to use your USB cable to transfer files, documents, videos, etc from your mobile phone to your computer using your USB cable.

To get started, you need to download all the drivers required for the file transfer if there’s a need to do so.

Connect your Samsung phone to your pc port, on your android phone file transfer.

On your computer, open the file manager and you’ll see the name of your Samsung smartphone.

This indicates that your Samsung android phone successfully connected to your pc or computer.

If you didn’t see your Samsung phone, that means it didn’t connect at all. Kindly remove the phone from the port and insert it again.

If again it didn’t connect, you’ll have to install drivers for the file transfer.

After installing all the required drivers, you should see your phone when you connect it to your pc or computer.

On your computer, open the file manager and locate your Samsung phone.

Tap on it to see your device’s internal storage or SD card.

Locate where you saved your photos and select all the photos you want to transfer to your pc or computer.

Copy all the photos and paste them to any location on your pc.

Using an OTG USB drive



Every smartphone now has support for OTG USB drive, and I prefer using it to transfer files from my phone to my computer.

It very much easier than the USB cable, and the best solution to transfer photos from Samsung android to pc.

There are lots of good quality OTG USB cable in the tech market or online stores, and I recommend you buy at least 64GB or preferably 256GB in size.

To transfer pictures from Samsung phone to a computer, all you need to do is to insert the OTG USB drive into your phone port and it will show up on your smartphone.

Go to your internal storage and locate where you saved the photos.

Copy all the photos you want to transfer and paste them right inside the OTG flash drive.

Remove the flash drive from your Samsung smartphone, and insert it into your computer.

You’ll see the OTG USB cable display on your computer, simply tap on it and locate where you saved the photos.

To transfer pictures from Samsung phone to a computer using the OTG USB drive, copy all the photos and paste them to the location you want on your pc or computer.

After you’re done, remove the OTG USB drive and that’s it.
