Whatsapp Dark mode allows you to change the color theme of WhatsApp from white to black.
How to Use Whatsapp dark mode Feature
Open WhatsApp, then tap > More options> Settings > Chats > Theme.
Select from the following options:
Dark: Turn dark mode on.
Light: Turn dark mode off.
System default: Enable WhatsApp dark mode to match your device settings. Go to device Settings > Display > turn Dark theme on or off.
2. Whatsapp Many Times Forwarded Messages Feature
Forwarding Info
The forwarding info will let the user know how many times a message has been forwarded. This tool is available in the info section for messages and will allow users to get more details about a forwarded message. This information, however, will be available for sent messages only as the user can navigate into Message Info only for messages he/she has sent. Once the user forwards a message, the user can tap on Message Info and know how many times a received message has been forwarded. WhatsApp’ s updated ‘Forwarded’ message feature will also help keep a check on the fake news.
Frequently Forwarded
On the other hand, the messages which have been forwarded more than four times will be marked ‘frequently forwarded’ and WhatsApp will show the ‘frequently forwarded’ label on top. This feature will help the user understand when a message is very popular on WhatsApp.
At present, WhatsApp shows a label for every forwarded message. You can see this just above the message text. For messages which have been forwarded more than four times, WhatsApp will show the ‘frequently forwarded’ label on top.
The two features are not enabled yet for all users as these features are still being tested. WhatsApp beta users are expected to receive these features in the next update.

WhatsApp Advance search makes it easy for users to find text, photos, videos and all other media files sent long ago. Here’s how this new WhatsApp feature works.
WhatsApp already had a search feature allowing users to search for a particular message across the chats on the app. However, it was limited to only text messages and did not allow users to look for pictures, videos, and auIn order to use the Advanced Search feature, users need to tap on the search icon on the top bar and initiate a search. WhatsApp will show search results from chat history and also bring options to search the same keyword for photos, links, and videos.

This feature allowes you to mute and unmute any status
Mute a contact’s status update
Open WhatsApp > STATUS.
Tap and hold your contact’s status update.
Tap MUTE.
Unmute a contact’s status update
Open WhatsApp > STATUS.
Scroll down to the Muted updates section.
Tap and hold your contact’s status update.
Tap UNMUTE.
4. Whatsapp Mute chat always feature
WhatsApp’s “Always Mute” option is now available on both iOS and Android versions of the app. The feature is self-explanatory as it essentially replaces the time limit for muting a particular chat or a group. With the release of the feature, users can now mute a chat indefinitely instead of the maximum limit of 1 year. This is a blessing in disguise for all those annoying chats that you never want to indulge with but would feel too rude to block.
5. Whatsapp Animated Stickers Feature
These animated stickers will play just once in the chat, and don’t loop indefinitely. If you want to trigger their animation, users will have to scroll up and down to play it. However, by default, the animated sticker plays once and stops on its own. These stickers show up in the desktop app once the sticker is downloaded on mobile. However, the WhatsApp for Desktop app doesn’t have the option to access the Sticker Store. Also, WhatsApp currently seems to not support third-party stickers as we tried to add a couple through the various apps available on Google Play, but they don’t seem to work.dios. The new Advanced Search feature will allow users to filter the search with not only photos, audio, GIFs, and videos but also documents and links.
Follow these steps to add animated stickers to your WhatsApp chat.
Open desired WhatsApp chat, click on the emoji icon in the bottom bar.
Select the Stickers option from the found at the end of the screen, and click on the ‘+’ icon seen on the extreme right of the stickers section.
This will open the built in Stickers Store inside WhatsApp that lists several sticker packs to choose from.
You will notice the above mentioned new sticker packs have been added to the ‘All Stickers’ list and these come with a play button right next to them, differentiating them from the regular one.
Click on the sticker pack you want to download, and preview the stickers by tapping on them.
Once you make a decision, you can click on the ‘Download’ option at the bottom of the screen.
This sticker pack will now be added to the Stickers section, and you can now choose to use them in conversations.
6. Whatsapp Group Video Call Limit Feature
WhatsApp has released a new update for iPhone users to increase the group call limit. The update will allow iPhone users to hold a group call with up to eight participants, an upgrade from the current four participant limit. This comes just days after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the rollout of the new feature. At the time of launch, the company said that Android and iPhone users will get the increased group call limit soon, and now iPhone users are the first ones to get the update. WhatsApp looks to take on video conferencing software Zoom with this new feature.
7. Whatsapp Payment Feature
WhatsApp Pay was launched in February 2018 in India as part of a trial run. Payments through WhatsApp were introduced to a million users under a partnership with ICICI Bank. On February 7, 2020, the messaging app received NPCI’s approval to roll out its digital payment service in a phased manner. In the first phase, WhatsApp will offer payment services to 10 million users in the country.
How to enable WhatsApp Pay? To use WhatsApp Pay, a user must initiate a payment to a contact. Once the request is received, the user can set up their UPI account on WhatsApp. How to use WhatsApp Pay? Users can send money directly through chat by tapping on the share file icon and selecting ‘payment’. The ‘payment’ section is available on the shortcut menu. Users can check their transaction history and account details in that section. The payment system works on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) method, where fund transfers can be initiated without having to provide bank account numbers and IFSC codes of recipients.
WhatsApp Pay: Modes of transaction WhatsApp Pay allows users to send money only to their contacts after which it enables UPI ID. WhatsApp Pay users could enter the UPI ID and send money. Through QR code, WhatsApp users can also send money to people who are not in their contact list.

8. Whats app Storage Management Features
WhatsApp has redesigned its storage management tool, making it easier for users to find and delete files that are taking up too much space on their phone. The new tool will be “rolling out to users worldwide this week,” says the Facebook-owned company, and will be available in the app by heading to Settings > Storage and data > Manage storage.
The current WhatsApp “Storage Usage” tool simply sorts all available chats by the amount of space they take up, listing the number of messages, photos, GIFs, and videos in each chat, and letting the user delete each category with a few taps. This is handy, but doesn’t give users a way to browse the content they’re removing. That’s important if you need to clear out, say, a family group chat, and want to avoid deleting any important photos.
The new tool, by comparison, offers thumbnails of content to be deleted, and groups this data in categories including “Forwarded many times” and “Larger than 5 MB.” That should make it easier for users to identify content that they don’t need or want any more, and that can simply be deleted. Up until now, WhatsApp only allowed its users to set a common custom wallpaper for all it chats, this changes now. With a new software update, you can now set a custom wallpaper for each of your chats individually. That’s not all, the Facebook-owned messaging platform has also introduced a bunch of new bright and dark wallpapers. In this article, we tell you how to set a custom wallpaper for a specific chat on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp: Set a custom wallpaper on iPhone
Before you go ahead, make sure that you have updated to the latest version of whatsapp from the App Store. Now, follow these steps to set a custom wallpaper for a specific chat.
Open a WhatsApp chat and tap the contact’s name to open their contact info.
Tap Wallpaper and Sound > tap Choose a New Wallpaper.
On the next screen, you’ll be able to check out the latest stock wallpapers from WhatsApp. These are new bright and dark wallpapers that you can use to set as chat backgrounds.
You can also access WhatsApp’s old wallpapers by tapping Wallpaper Archive. You can find this by scrolling down to the bottom in either the bright or dark wallpapers section.
Of course, if you don’t like WhatsApp’s collection of wallpapers, you can also choose a custom photo from your phone’s gallery or you can set solid background colours if that’s what you prefer.
To set a custom wallpaper, make your choice > you can also swipe left or right to preview wallpapers. Once you’re sure, hit Set > adjust the Wallpaper Dimming for tweaking brightness, and that’s it.
WhatsApp: Set a custom wallpaper on Android
To set a custom wallpaper for a WhatsApp chat on Android, follow these steps.
Open a WhatsApp chat > hit the three-dots icon > tap Wallpaper.
Choose the wallpaper of your choice > swipe left or right to preview > hit Set Wallpaper > adjust Wallpaper Dimming for tweaking brightness, and that’s all.
Other settings are pretty much the same as they were for iPhone users.
Just so you know, setting a common wallpaper for all the chats doesn’t affect the custom wallpaper that you set for specific chats.
