This is one good thing about Nigeria. They would not investigate these stories and find those involved or bring them to book.
In these days of BVN it is easy to identify the owners of the accounts and have them arrested or investigated but no one would. If you ask why, they'll tell you "no one has brought a formal report" or " no one has reported the case formally".
Now, what's wrong in interrogating the returnees and building a case.

He has clearly been labelled a criminal with glaring evidence. Let's wait and see if he'll eventually be arrested and tried for his crimes of if on investigation they'll find out someone used his name, face, address, qualifications etc. to contest the elections, or if the real person is "Isa" and not "Isah" or his non existent twin brother whom no one has ever seen.
Also, the police claims he has been declared wanted since he deserted in 2010. Why hasn't he been arrested since then since he didn't go into hiding but was daring enough to contest elections.
I thought the police carry out security checks on public or potential public office holders and clear them before elections. Was that clearance forged too or was it actually issued by the same Nigerian police that are looking for him?............

We should stop running double standards when "big men" are involved.
A "big man" can marry an 8 of a 10 year old but when a poor man marries a 15 year old, it's a crime.

I feel the randy man should be arrested and prosecuted with the girl's parents, if they are found to be involved, but IT SHOULDN'T END THERE! All who are involved in such acts should also be brought to book.
Alternatively, we can correct the law by clearly stating such clauses.
For example, the law should clearly state that if you are below the position of a senator or earn less than a particular amount a year, then is it a crime to bed a minor.

This is the problem we have in this country.
These women can claim they are selling change to people looking to break large notes either for transportation or to buy snacks for their hungry children or themselves.
I stand to be corrected, but I don't think there is yet any law against selling change to people be it mint or old notes.
I think the crime is committed at the point where the money is sprayed and so far I have seen a lot of videos of very prominent and easily identifiable Nigerians throwing money all over at weddings and yet no arrests have been made.
I guess neither CBN nor EFCC nor the Nigerian Police would see this probably because "they don't view the internet" or "or they do not officially have internet connection" or "no one had reported the crime". SMH
