By:Fashina Shakiru.
The foremost African real estate investor Dr. Joseph Nantomah, popularly known as Black Mentor, is presently alleged for stealing over $300,000.00 from clients who made payments to his real estate investment group, BizTimes News reports.

The Wisconsin Circuit Court in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, has opened a case investigating allegations of a real estate mega scam to allow investors to reclaim their investment funds.

A lawsuit filed on behalf of city Milwaukee residents Tomas Matos and Jeannie Berry-Matos, which also affects some Nigerians-US based Oluwafemi Adeosun, Chimkame Ibe, Noral Anyanwu and Emmanuel Anyanwu in United States District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin, accused Black Mentor investment fraud.

According to a report by BizTimes News, a Nigerian-US-based resident of New York, Oluwafemi Adeosun, filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Nantomah after he allegedly accepted a payment of $80,000 to flip a home in Slinger. After this first payment agreement, Adeosun also entered into a second investment with Nantomah and paid him another $45,000.

Another Nigerian-US-based resident, Chimkame Ibe, a Texas resident, also accused Dr. Josphen Nantomah of a breach of contract lawsuit against Black Mentor last month. She allegedly paid into an investor account $100,000 to flip the aforementioned property in Slinger. According to the client, she entered into a second investment agreement with Black Mentor via the messaging app Whatsapp, paying an additional $15, 000, BizTimes News reports.

The scam not left out a couple: Noral Anyanwu and Emmanuel Anyanwu, residents of Illinois, allegedly paid Nantomah $100,000 for investment property. Meanwhile, the trio of client-victims of Nigerians-US based have filed a case against Nantomah at the Wisconsin circuit court, Milwaukee USA.

According to the Investors Capital LLC website, the company owns a real estate asset worth more than $23 million. The company's policy stated that they would acquire properties and then flip them for property.

The company solicits investments from clients through seminars, conferences, workshops, and the use of social media platforms to educate clients on the company's real estate investment market and the promised returns.

This medium further investigated Nantomah's social media activities and discovered that he used his huge followers on Instagram and Facebook to trick innocent victims into falling victim to a security investment fraud. It was gathered that the victims have yet to receive any reimbursement for any payments from Nantomah's real estate investment company

Nantomah is the owner and principal of Milwankee-based Investor Capital LLC, a property service company. According to the findings by BizTimes News, "The business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has garnered three customer complaints over the last two years, which were filed with the BBB.

"all I saw was Michael Jackson, too big a name to contend with"- 333riller

Working alternately as a crafted alter ego, whereby, Temitope writes songs, but only 333riller can infuse them with that irresistible pop. While Temitope can be reserved, 333riller remains the vibrant force. As the Yoruba would say, "okunrin Meta.", Music is his canvas, and 333riller, is simply the trinity.

Merica Entertainment welcomes, 333riller, as he shares his fascinating music journey and the essence he embodies!

Merica: Since Music is your canvas; how did you first wield the brush, and what shades do you splash across the sonic spectrum?
333riller: My parents did something adorable; they named all their children with names starting with 'T,' including themselves. So, I toyed with various names like Tboy, Tee, T-lawax before settling on Triller. Initially, I spelled it as Triller and even released some songs under that name. But whenever I searched it online, all I saw was Michael Jackson, too big a name to contend with. So, I swapped the 'T' for my birth date, 3, and thus became 333riller, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Merica: Collaboration often strikes the sweetest chords. Were there any sonic architects whose harmonies resonated deep within your core?
333riller: Nobody paved the way for me; instead, the Afrobeat of the 2000s served as my artistic pillar. If you're an Afrobeat lover, you know the feeling when that "Gongo Aso" intro hits.

Merica: The future is an open stage; which luminaries do you dream of sharing its spotlight with?
333riller: My goal is simple: to etch my name, my brand, and my music onto the map.

Merica: As your opus unfolds, where do you envision the crescendo of your symphony?
333riller: Honestly, I'm currently laser-focused on creation. It's all about the present moment for me. My next song has to surpass the last, and my EP must epitomize my essence and brand. No distractions; it's a marathon we're running here, not a sprint. And when we reach the victory lap, we'll celebrate.

Merica: The symphony of inspiration is boundless; from which realms do you draw your muse?
333riller: I'll relate this question to my next single, boldly stating that my muse stems from my African queens—the ones Tunde Ednut would bless Africa for, you know?

Merica: Every musician has their muse; who are the guiding stars illuminating your sonic voyage?
333riller: I thought I just answered that; GOD bless Africa.

Merica: Amidst the symphony of your career, can you share a moment that reverberates as deeply fulfilling?
333riller: The reception to my last release reaffirmed what I've always known: I'm made for this, and you'll see that sooner rather than later.

Merica: Like any symphony, there are moments of silence. What melancholic notes have you encountered on your journey thus far?
333riller: When my music spreads like wildfire, infecting everyone like a common cold. Performing my songs in front of people I've never met but who know me solely through my music—that's the dream.

Merica: The stage is a theatre, and sometimes it plays tricks. Have there been any comedic interludes in your symphony of performance?
333riller: Everything about me breathes music, and there's nothing else I know or am good at aside from music. Someone once asked me if I'd still pursue music if it didn't pay, and my response was simple: isn't that what I'm doing right now?

Merica: Success is the crescendo of every musician's journey. How do you define the zenith of your melodic odyssey?
333riller: No sugar-coating here; the sky's the limit. As I said in my last song, when you see me now, snap a picture with me because it's about to be a blockbuster.

Merica: Music is the elixir of life. How has its intoxicating embrace enriched your existence?
333riller: Yes, my family, GOD, and discipline.

Merica: As the curtains rise on the next act of your symphony, what grand crescendos do you envision on the horizon?
333riller: First and foremost, there's no music like African music. Every sound, every genre traces its roots back to Africa. Now, the Nigerian entertainment industry is at the forefront, crafting our own narrative and showcasing our prowess to the world.

Merica: Every melody has its chorus of supporters. Were your family the backing vocals to your overture?
333riller: On a serious note, if I weren't pursuing music, I'd prefer to stay out of the public eye—just one of those guys on Instagram with a single picture on their account. Maybe I'd attend church more, like my ex wanted.

Merica: Finally, as the composer of your own destiny, how would you orchestrate the sonnet of your personality in a single refrain?
333riller: Nothing worthwhile comes easy. If you want it easy, you don't deserve it; you're just lazy.

TSL
The idea is to escape the madness of the week and be surrounded by positive and productive individuals who engage in fun activities and netowrking opportunities

1. Mission and Vision:

   - How would you describe TSL's mission in a nutshell?

To change lives through active contributions to the development of athletes and sports initiatives in Africa

   - What's the big picture vision for TSL, and how do you see it evolving?

To be the lead sports marketing company in Africa and authority on sports initiatives across the world.

2. Community Engagement:

   - What's been the most exciting community initiative TSL has undertaken?

The creation of Happy Corner – Sporting Lagos fan community.
It started off as an exciting opportunity to support a home grown club. Bamiji and Tomiwa (TSL Cofounders) went for the first Sporting Lagos home game, saw the potential and approached the club with our services. At this point, we were still a small startup that had yet to make revenue let alone profit. So in a way Sporting Lagos gave us our first big break and we haven’t looked back ever since. The initiative went from 5 guys making noise in a corner of the stadium to a filled up stadium with vibrant energy to being nicknamed The Noisy Lagosians.
We met some really cool people along the line that have since then become integral members of our TSL community

   - Any fresh ideas to deepen the connection with our audience?

We created TSL Mondays as an avenue for our community members to catch up with one another. The idea is to escape the madness of the week and be surrounded by positive and productive individuals who engage in fun activities and netowrking opportunities. We also have the Home of TSL – A WhatsApp platform that enables our community members interact online.

3. Content Creation and Dissemination:

   - How do you feel about the variety and quality of content TSL is putting out?

In terms of variety, we discuss Football, Basketball, American Football, Athletics, Tennis, Formula1, MMA and Boxing. We are blessed with some of the most gifted sporting minds in Africa, so the quality of analysis is superb.
Our production crew works tirelessly behind the cameras to improve quality and consistency of our productions and all we can say is that it will only get better.

Any untapped opportunities in content creation you think we should explore?

Theres loads of ideas that will still come to fore once they are able to be practical, we have only scratched the surface

⁩ @⁨Tayo TSL⁩  (add to this)

4. Impact and Contributions:

   - How do you measure the impact TSL has on the sports community in Africa?

Massive actually, to be able to make going to local stadiums look fun again is one that can skyrocket the development of sports not just in Nigeria but Africa worldwide.

Also being in the community is a proper leveler as there’s no barrier to who you cannot share a common ground especially at our community gatherings. These are opportunities people might never have gotten in their lifetime*

   - Ideas on how to amplify our positive influence?

We can focus on more grassroot sports program, aim to help talented and local athletes with more community events and outreach while promoting diversity and inclusivity in sports

5. Values and Culture:

   - Which of TSL's core values resonates with you the most?

Our core values are Teamwork, Integrity, Community, Consistency, Hard work, and Passion..

The one that resonates the most is passion. Passion is the foundation of TSL. This is what built TSL from a conversation between friends to a movement across Africa. It’s passion that has made us keep building despite numerous obstacles and this same passion that has drawn other passionate individuals towards our community.

At TSL, we commonly joke about how our individual occupations are what pays the bills but sports is what wakes us up every morning and we would be doing this whether or not we were getting paid to. That gives you an insight into the nature of our workforce and community. There is nothing sweeter than watching something you built from scratch impact lives and that is its own reward

6. Future Goals and Challenges:

   - What's the top priority for TSL in the next phase of growth?

Discovering and nurturing talents. The more influence we have as a community will enable us to provide opportunities to talented individuals. We want to be responsible for a new generation of athletes and sport influencers. Hence our mission To change lives through active contributions to the development of athletes and sports initiatives in Africa

   - Anticipated hurdles on the path to achieving our goals?

Wouldn’t necessarily call this a hurdle but we need resources to achieve our goals. Not just in terms of financial investments but also manpower, strategic partnerships and intellectual property. These are all areas we are working on willing to collaborate with interested parties.

7. Feedback and Improvement:

   - How can TSL better gather feedback from its stakeholders?

We are heavy on feedback so we create surveys and share with our communities and most ideas are often implemented. We believe in growing and we are open to ideas, suggestions and criticism on our activities.

   - Ideas for continuous improvement within TSL?

@⁨Tayo TSL⁩

8. Partnerships and Collaborations:
@⁨Theo⁩
   - Share your thoughts on the role of partnerships in TSL's growth.

Partnerships and collaborations play a pivotal role in the growth and success of any business. It is basically the bread and butter of any and every organization.  Partnerships plays a vital role in the growth trajectory of TSL as a company. By strategically aligning with other entities within various industries, such as sports organizations, media outlets, gaming companies, content creators, and brands, TSL can unlock numerous opportunities for expansion and innovation. By forging these strategic alliances with varying brands TSL can expand its reach, enhance its content offerings, and engage a broader audience. Collaborations enable TSL to access new markets, tap into diverse expertise, and leverage shared resources for mutual benefit. Additionally, partnerships can provide opportunities for cross-promotion, driving brand awareness and fostering a loyal community of sports enthusiasts.

Furthermore, partnerships can be mutually beneficial for both TSL and its collaborators. Through co-marketing initiatives, cross-promotions, or revenue-sharing agreements, TSL can generate additional revenue streams while providing value to its partners. This fosters long-term relationships and strengthens TSL's position within the sports media ecosystem.

Ultimately, by cultivating meaningful partnerships, TSL can amplify its impact, solidify its position in the sports media landscape, and realize its growth aspirations.

Any dream collaborations you'd love to see happen?

Everyone. Cause every collaboration is a dream one that’s unique in its own way

9. Measuring Success:

   - What metrics do you believe are most crucial for assessing TSL's success?

- Any innovative ways we can track impact?

When anyone is asked, what helps you de-stress after a rough day at work on Monday and the popular answer is TSL Mondays, that’s success, when anyone is asked where they go to catch the latest gist and analysis from a homegrown station and they say Home of the Sports lounge, that’s success

10. Closing Thoughts:
@⁨Olabamiji Ojo

    - Any final reflections or insights you'd like to share about TSL's journey?

Watching things grow the way they have been in the past year or two is exactly the stuff the TSL dream was made up, from 5 people coming to the stadium to hundreds, from 12 on TSL Mondays to hundreds let alone the impact we are making in people’s lives is quite amazing and all the necessary strength to keep going, we will get to do this on a larger scale when the time comes.

---

These questions aim to spark engaging conversations and gather valuable insights from TSL's board members to optimize the organization's engines for greater impact and success.

Fashina Shakiru.

The leader of the Niger Delta Coastline Vanguard, NDCV, Akogun Job Omotuwa, has condemned the killing of military personnel at Okuama Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Akogun Job Omotuwa stated this during a press conference in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, saying it is a great national tragedy.

He said: It has become imperative to lend his voice in condemning the event, which was uncalled for and an avoidable loss of lives of Nigerians on the side of the Nigerian military

According to him, "There is no gainsaying that the gruesome and unprovoked murder of sixteen officers and men of the Nigerian army consisting of a Lieutenant Colonel, two majors, a captain, and twelve other men of the military by criminals in Okuama community, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, is one of the worst things to have happened to our gallant soldiers in recent history."

Let me at this point condole with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Armed Forces, the families of these fallen heroes, and the good people of Nigeria over the callous and senseless murder of these officers who were said to be on their line of duty at Okuama."

Akogun Job Omotuwa said the group is supporting the military and other security agencies to get to the root cause of the matter and possibly bring the killers to face the law.

He, however, urged the military to remain focused and committed to its mandate of maintaining peace and security in the country.

Fourth of five children raised by an Edo mother, Lucky Bamidele Dasufoli, better known by his stage name “Echoxap” is a Nigerian singer/songwriter whose 2020 single “Bamidele” launched his career to astronomical heights.

Despite his growing influence and industry connects, Echoxap is a front member of Musical Artists Records Limited, and here, reveals what makes him tick as an entertainer.

GPP: How did you get started in music, and what prompted you to pursue it professionally?
Echoxap: I started dabbling in music around 2006-2008, mainly along friends in Festac. Initially, I was more of a behind-the-scenes supporter, sponsoring and accompanying friends to shows. However, I eventually felt compelled to step into the limelight and record my first single, “Bamidele,” an Afrobeat track, in 2020.

GPP: Have you collaborated with any female artists, and if so, how was the experience?
Echoxap: Yes, collaborating with a female artist was a refreshing experience. It added a new dynamic to my music, and the project turned out well, inspiring me to embrace my identity as Echoxap.

GPP: Who are some artists you aspire to work with in the future?
Echoxap: I would love to collaborate with icons like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, Davido, Simi, Rema, Neyo, among others.

GPP: What are your thoughts on the Nigerian music industry and its current state?
Echoxap: I believe Nigerian artists should collaborate more to create bigger and better projects, seizing opportunities to elevate the industry.

GPP: If you weren’t pursuing music, what do you think you’d be doing instead?
Echoxap: Without music, I’d likely be fully immersed in business ventures, leveraging my entrepreneurial spirit.

AGEGE RENEWED HOPE MOVEMENT: THIS IS 'MY AGEGE STORY'

By Oki Samson

It is highly unlikely that when a roll call of the historic towns in Lagos is made, Agege will not come within the first five (5). Agege didn't use to be part of Lagos at the Independence of Nigeria in 1960, it was under the defunct Western region. However, with the creation of Lagos State in 1967, it effectively became a city in Lagos.

Alongside its historic significance, the conurbation is also notable for being a cultural melting point for Nigerians of all tribes and religions. First, being on the old narrow-gauge railway, it was a major destination for people, raw materials, cash crops, and other items. By the time, Ikeja became the capital of Lagos State, Agege's nearness made it an automatic choice location for residential purposes for civil servants and staff of banks and private firms that made Ikeja their headquarters. This ensured that Agege became a place to be called 'home' for several Nigerians. A large number of influential Nigerians, home and abroad have their respective 'my Agege story'!

While these successful individuals have their respective 'my Agege story', they shudder at what Agege is becoming. Many of them, once they leave, don't even want to pay a visit. Many areas where they lived rather than improve are regressing. Many locations that they can recall as academic fronts and intellectual discourse have been taken over by touts. The youths who should engage in creative purposes are being reduced to illicit drug users, pickpockets, political thugs, and other devilish vices. The roads are not tarred, the streets are not lit at night, the general outlook of the environment is not conducive.

A group of passionate indigenes, eminent personalities home and abroad of Agege extraction collectively known as AGEGE RENEWED HOPE MOVEMENT is determined to stem this ugly trend. The group is determined to restore the lost glory of the culturally relevant and historically important city of Agege. The group is determined to light up the hopes of old and young Nigerians who now reside in Agege.

With the calibre of individuals that Agege can boast of in public service, private business, sports, security, Arts, entertainment, et al, Agege deserves much more. This is the reason behind the birth of the movement. This is a clarion call to all indigenes and residents of Agege to join hand to restore and reposition Agege back to its old glory. AGEGE RENEWED HOPE MOVEMENT is here!
