If the almagamation of 1914 was indeed a blessing, and at the same time we still have problems that has not been remedied yet, don't you think that "blessing" should be thoroughly reviewed?

Lord Lugard, almagamated the Northern and the Sourthen protectorates in 1914, but what necessitated this initiative,but whatever reason behind Lord Lugards' actions , has that promoted peace and love among Nigerians or are we regretting this naive ,selfish action of the British. Soon after the British had acquired the Northern region from the French in 1900, they found out that it was going to be a drain on their finances and a big liability item  in their annual budgets from the British Crown to the colonies. Therefore they decided to create this artificial country called Nigeria by coercion so that the wealth of  the South would be used to support the North. Could this be the reason why we are still wandering in the wilderness of endless hope today?

Friendship, between a man and a woman, has always  been sweet, blissful, almost like Heaven on earth at it's very begining. So does marriage between couples. There is always high expectation of goodwill, love un-ending , almost to the point one could imagine the Garden of Eden in it's perfection, but it's always an unexpected suprise, to see  the bright clouds of love becomes blury and gloomy , the curtain drawn,  the very bright sun that rose from the east , is now settling at the west, couples are now questioning their relationship and blaming eachother for the upheaval. At this point, what should couples do when their relationship is not working out.

What  can we point out  that the new president has really achieved since he assailed office last 30 months? When i look at some countries in Africa and Asia and other parts of the world who do not possess upto 25% of the total Nigerian wealth have been very progressive in their economic growth, my question is " WHICH WAY NIGERIA". What is really happening?

This is another example of a visionless state and leaders, redesigning the currency is just an act to seeking recognision or achievement by Lamido, It is not what the state requires now. The citizenry wants to see an enhanced living standard, Good health care, improved education standard, jobs for the unemplyed. Changing or redesigning the currency of about1.915 billion units , did not cost 100000, rather millions. These are avenues of stealing money. Sanusi knows he will not be there for a long time cos he will be changed becos of his illiterate and weak personality, he's doing what he got to do. We Nigerians are not fools! it's time our selfish leaders understands that facts.

Brother, i agree with you, but you should also realize that the issue of sex, is demoralizing , destroying and degerating the mind of our youths, Lyrics that does not support or enhance the spritual well - being of the hearers can never be uphelded , rather it should be seen as an enemy of progression.

Does it enhance ur potentials as a person, does it open ways for business contracts for you? what  has American kids who were taught sex education from Childhood achieved? more teen pregnancy, More abortion and all it's related defects. Think twice

I know what you are talking about, the government has been turning deaf ears to the pleas of Nigerians , when it comes to providing them the basic amenities that are  needed to better the standard of living, so tackling them , will not make any sense to either of us , rather the youths that will eventually become future leaders. We should help in phasing out these leaders that does understand the plight of the people with these promising youths that desire what i desire. But we have to think right first.

COOL GUY, my bros i never speak for public before, just that there's a fire burning in my bones , i want to see my country Nigeria recognised in the world scene. I want to see postive changes in Nigeria my beloved country. All these expectations would only be possible if we have a united youth sqaud irrespective of our  tribes or creed. If the youth buys this vision of becoming better people from their various nooks and crannies of their worlds, in Ten years time the whole country must have been infested with a brand new generation of youths that will exceed even the vision 2020 of our president.

My Dear, there's nothing wrong with that but we have over emphasised our discussions in this chat room with sex related topics. I love sex as a human being but we all should remember that these are things done in secret not really suppose to be a public issues . Come to think of it, what would we say we are lea learning or learned with all these discussions, rather it leaves us very vulnerable to more sex related problems, guys ends up molesting the ladies with their inmoral sex talks , that is to say would even rape them if they had the opportunity to do it on the internet. The product of all these is less valuable humans, Poor future fathers and mothers, Loosing the competency of being competitive becos priorities have been shifted to sex related topics.

Hope, please do not be too personal, i wss not talking about you or anyone. It is my general observation. I apologise if my post does offend your person.

Holy living is very possible and many pple have been living same. The level of moral decadence in our time makes it seem unattainable but it is very possible. A carnal man or someone that have been enveloped with the desires of the flesh, would find it very difficult but the man or woman who has been transformed into a new person in Christ Jesus would never find it difficult. I corinthians 2 :14 says "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." many pple would say "passing, or loading...." becos they do not have anything to offer to this topic.

There's nobody that visits this chat room, that doesn't know what sex is all about , or how it's initiated and done. I think we all know that very much. There is no question about sex issues that have not been rephrased into another different new question, i think we all should move beyond that and think on how to develope ourselves better in this life.

Mahatamai Ghandi in one of his famous quotes, said " Be the change you want to see in the world". It is still hard for me to reconcile this quotes, with the life style of majority of our youths nowadays, especially those that visits Naijapal chat rooms. We spend  many hours, days, months if not years dealing on sex issues and topics which not only degenerate out thinking faculties, but leaves us very vulnerable to sex problems in life. What makes knowledge what it is , is it's application. When we the youths have learned all these garbages in the name of socializing, would want to apply it in our daily lives, which in-turns makes us difficult beings. These garbages we discuss every now and again weakens our inner man , at such leaves us weak and sickly in the mind.That is how many pple end up becoming rapist, women beater, incompetent fathers, mothers,and what have you. This trend should be critically reviewed if we want to be the change we would like to see in the world. I would like us to use this means of our gathering together to discuss on possitive things, life changing issues like, how to be good fathers, mothers, good leaders, knowlegde sharing, many of us are still in colleges, they need our knowledge bank to aspire higher. This is  a time for us to be competitive in life not in sex issues. God bless you all.
