I must be honest to say i'm a little bit surprised reading this, to see that we also have such a wonderful team of doctors in Nigeria, but at the other, i'm no more surprised concerning brains and intellectual people in Nigeria.
It's left to our political leaders to stop messing up our beloved country and really get something worthwhile done for the people in the following aspects:
1. Qualitative education (to breed more itellects to uplift the literacy level in the country),
2. Occupation (to all graduates in order to avoid constant exodus of our products),
3. Energy supply 24/7( notwithstanding all our petroleum produce, we have been reduced to generators-dependent country to breed energy and consequently polluting the country. I even read that we provide energy to some african neighbors countries (see Rep. of Benin and Ghana) while we continue to sleep in darkness. How also can we attract foreign firms to invest in Nigeria due to this terrible situation?,
4. Infrastructures (improvement of all Nigerian roads and rails for easy shifting and not just to mention the allocations in all budgets while the money will be promtly squandered by some political luts while lots of people continue to loose their lives because of bad roads in Nigeria,
5. Health (eventhough we have adopted the private system of health which honestly i don't comprehend, public health should always be constant to the poor part of the society otherwise people will continue to adopt self-cure through local herbs, known as omeopatic and which needs to be developed too to serve as an alternative. Through constant presence and assistance to all the medical doctors should prevent them from moving abroad to develop other countries rather than our country plus a good salary which is at the core of this aspect.
Over all these aspects, there's the corruption which is the consequence of a bad economy in which salaries are very poor and to me, all these aspects tie together to make a nation function so this is my message to the further government ready to rule Nigeria.

Open debate for whoever has to say...

YES INDEED PROSTITUTION IS AN ACIENT BIZ AND CANNEVER BE GET RID OF IN ANY WAY OTHER THAN TO LEGALISE IT AS IN THE CASE OF HOLLAND, IN SO FAR AS IT BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL WORK AND CONSEQUENTLY BREED INCOME TAX FOR THE GOVERNMENT. I THINK ALL READERS KNOW ABOUT THE CASE OF HOLLAND WHERE ALL PROSTITUTES PAY THEIR TAX REGULARLY, GET FULL PROTECTION FROM THE POLICE AND UNDERGO RIGID AND CONSTANT MEDICAL CHECK-UP.
WHAT REALLY EMBARASES ME IS TO READ FROM OTHER VIEWERS THAT WE HAVE MORE THAN A PENAL CODE IN NIGERIA; THERE SHOULD NEVER BE ANYTHING LIKE NORTHERN, SOUTHERN OR EASTERN PENAL CODE. THERE SHOULD ONLY BE ONE PENAL CODE FOR NIGERIA, REGARDLESS OF THE SUBJECT OR TOPIC OF OUR DISCUSSION WHICH IS PROSTITUTION.

It's true that more than much was expected from Nigeria in this competition simply because of previous achieved experiences both in national and international tournaments but we must however bear in mind that all African teams, as time goes on, continue to improve, moreover, football is also a round sphere in which there's no initial superiority of a team on the other; it's a battlefield of 90 minutes and there's always the unpredicted in football today.
It's also true that Nigeria has been able to produce and continues to produce lots of famous players international wise but according to me, what we continue to lack is that self-confidence/self-consciousness that consequently completes a team today and once that is achieved, Nigeria will surely do better anywhere.
However, we can only applaud our team no matter the 3rd position so that they can do better in this coming World football competition coming up in South Africa and i think Nigeria's actual coach or whoever is going to lead our team to be well prepared to uprouse the features mentioned above in our team, so i can only say GO AHEAD GREEN EAGLES!!!

WOW!!! All that is happening is a real nightmare. After the failed attack of the 25th of December and other episodes that followed, i knew that blacklisting Nigeria was going to be the expected punishment, and this would surely affect all Nigerians living abroad.
Nothwitstanding the US that was alerted a month before the attack by the father, why did they not take the matter seriously and what was the US intention? Whosever is the fault, whether Holland or the same US intelligence, who did not take serious action before the attack, one thing is evident enough, that is, the security appliances in all airports need to be renewed and whatever new security solutions like the body scan stuff should be applied to every passanger before boarding into any plane. It's also evident enough that someone has to pay seriously for not taking serious action within the US intelligence and Obama should investigate personally, then forward a public excuse note to our govt. for blacklisting our country and exposing us to a global spotlight.
I PERSONALLY PLEAD TO OUR FELLOW NIGERIANS ABROAD TO PLS KEEP THE RIGHT CODE OF CONDUCT AND STOP SPOILING AND EXPOSING OURSELVES. JUST REMEMBER THE SAY THAT "ONE EGG SPOILS THE WHOLE".

From all that's been happening everywhere concerning Nigerians, is surely a big shame and all are really telling on we Nigerians abroad and i'm really bothered personally because i've been paying for long time now, all the misdeeds of our people in Italy where i reside for 20 yrs now and while i'm almost at the reach of my citizenship, i hope these recent news don't delay my papers. Consequently, all Nigerians will surely be under rigid control but that should not be a motive for all countries abroad to generalise on us, anyway all depends on TIME, as all negative news will come to fade away.

Hi folks, i was reading thru your discussions regards the scamming stuff talkless of what happened and is still happening in Nigeria, due to the greediness and exploitaion of all the so-called DEVELOPED COUNTRIES in Africa, still stealing or taking by force all African riches. Honestly speaking, i'm really ashamed of my people cheating and rubbing online thru scamming and yet these people would calmly cheat in the name of love, in the name of God, with no absolute fear.
Well, the white lady was only kind and gentle helping out these people online but i assure her that she showed her real-self by being kind and gentle, which should never be taken for weakness and God knows that. I also receive lots of mail junks with scamming stuff and stories anyway, if someone has to becareful, it's not the white lady that has learnt from past mistakes but these scammers that dont fear God and dont believe that anytime and anyday, something can happen to them in an unexpected way. All they need to do is remember the famous say which says GOOD BRINGS DOOD AND BAD BRINGS BAD.
So whoever has helped by doing good will surely be rewarded three-fold or vice versa.

As regards my country, there needs to be a complete clean of the system but anyone will agree with me that as long as there's the famous INVISIBLE HAND; clearly reffered to external hands always looking forward to lay hands on the riches of Africa as a whole, thru so many international lending institutions, there can never be complete management of our riches by ourselves so, i conclude by saying that it's not Africa and other poor nations that are relying on the rich and dveloped countries but on the contrary and these so called rich and developed countries know for sure and they should have to keep on thanking whatever Saint they have up above or somewhere as long as we also contribute to ruin ourselves by stealing among ourselves mostly thru scamming and corruption, Africa will never be able to stand by itself.
Nevertheless, i stop here because this discussion is very huge and especially if we also have to look at the aspect of war eruptions everywhere where the developed countries would sell their arms to the poor nations to kill themselves, they would then intervene and proposing themselves to rebuild the ruines of war that they caused and from here the exploitation game starts...
Whoever wants to enrich this discussion can do so by responding to my discussion.
