| I utterly condemn the act of blood convenant. Never underestimate the power of the tongue when taking an oath especially when the bible and blood are involved. What were they thinking? that was so naive and silly. Basically both of them are in deep trouble. Call me superstitious or whatever, but things wont go well for them until they break their blood convenant. People sometimes take it as a joke but blood is very binding and sacred. I suggest you both go to church for serious deliverance so they can go their seperate ways without consequences. God help them.
Correct Babe, i really support ur opinion. Gbammm

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / WAHALA DEY O:Another 22 police recruits charged with forgery |
on: 18-03-2012 04:54 PM
| I wonder what this world is turning into and u said corruption must end.. Well we need PLENTY PRAYER for this country.
Twenty two police recruits attending training at the Nigeria Police Training College in Ilorin, were on Friday charged, in two separate magistrates’ courts, with using fake documents to gain employment into the Nigeria Police Force.
It was the second time in the week that police recruits would be fished out for using fake certificates.
In Lagos, 23 persons, male and female, training at the Police College, Ikeja were charged with using fake educational qualifications.
The accused persons in Ilorin were arraigned on a four count-charge of criminal conspiracy, forgery, impersonation and using as true certificates known to be false, contrary to sections 97, 363,132 163 of the Penal Code.
The Prosecutors, Insp. David Wodi and Sgt. Mathew Ologbonsaye, informed the respective courts that the accused were arrested after screening their certificates and discovering that they were all forged.
“The certificate presented by the accused persons ranging from Senior Secondary School (SSCE), National Certificate of Education (NCE) and University degrees are suspected to be fake.”
All the accused persons in a separate plea, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
The prosecutors told the court that investigations into the case were ongoing and urged the court to remand the accused in prison custody, pending the completion of investigations.
Mr Shina Ibiyemi, Director of the Legal Aid Council in Kwara, who stood for the accused persons in the courts applied for their bail on liberal terms.
He told the court that section 36 (5) of the penal code law still presumed the accused innocent until the contrary was proven, adding that the accused persons would present reliable surety, if bail was granted.
In his ruling, Magistrate Wahab Saka acceded to the submission of the counsel and granted the 11 accused persons before him bail in the sum of N50, 000 and a surety each.
Magistrate Shuaib Olanikewu on the other hand, also granted bail to the other 11 suspects with similar bail bonds.
Olanikewu, however, added that the sureties must swear to affidavit of means before the court registrar before the accused could be released.
The magistrates adjourned to April 12 and April 14, respectively for further mention on the cases.
In the Lagos case, the new cops were alleged to have made false statements to recruiting police officers that they were holders of National Certificate in Education (NCE) and National Diploma (ND) from various educational institutions in Nigeria.
The cops comprising two female and 21 male are: Grace Uba, Oche Rose, Johnson Adejobi, Adamu Yusuf, Jerome Oluwasegun, Ujah Onu, Yohanna Patrick, Ebenezer Gana, Ayuba Sanni, Isa Sunday, Zakari Musa, Lawal Adeniyi and Samuel Ajaji.
Others are Suraju Bisiruyu, Owolabi Azizi Matanni, Adamu Jubrin, Uhini Edicha, Ukwumonu Ibrahim, Ibrahim Abu, Watti Olanrewaju, Alhaji Adejoh, Yemi Ajayi and John Oko.
Part of the one count charge brought against them reads: “ That you, all of the above names persons on or before 17 September, 2011 at Police College, Ikeja, Lagos in the Ikeja magisterial district did make false statement to the recruiting officers that you were National Certificate in Education (NCE) and National Diploma (ND) holders from various institutions in Nigeria, knowing full well that you never possessed the qualifications claimed, which made you to be recruited into the Nigerian police force.”
According to the prosecuting police officer, ASP Barth Nwaokoye, the alleged offence committed by the newly recruited police officers are punishable under section 96 of the Criminal Code, Vol. 44, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.
The 23 officers however pleaded not guilty to the charge.
They were later granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties by the presiding magistrate, Mr. A.O. Isaac.
The matter has been adjourned till 18 April, 2012 for trial.

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Mediators Quit in Boko Haram Talks |
on: 18-03-2012 04:48 PM
| Ibrahim Datti Ahmed, the muslim cleric mediating in peace talks between the Nigerian government and the Boko Haram Islamist sect has announced he was quitting the talks, accusing the government of insincerity. Ahmed who heads the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria {SCSN] has been a go-between in the indirect talks between Boko Haram and the government aimed at ending a two-year insurgency that has left over 1,000 people dead. Ahmad said in a statement that he and his colleague, Nafiu Baba Ahmed, a lawyer, Shekau, Boko Haram leader decided to quit over an alleged leaking of details of the talks to the media. “This development has embarrassed us very much and has created strong doubt in our mind about the sincerity of the government as the discussion is supposed to be very confidential,” he said. “In view of this unfortunate and unhelpful development we have no option but to withdraw from these early discussions,” Ahmad added. “We sincerely regret that an opportunity to negotiate and terminate this cycle of violence is being missed.” A security official said Boko Haram had proposed a three-month truce if all of its detained members are released and if the government halts any further arrests. He said the government was looking at the proposal. Ahmad’s statement said he contacted the sect through a journalist “who maintained a valuable professional contact with the leadership of the sect”. Ahmad formed the SCSN as a muslim pressure group that agitated for the reintroduction of sharia law in 12 predominantly muslim states in the north when the country returned to democratic rule in 1999. The group drew membership largely from radical muslim clerics, including Mohammed Yusuf, the slain leader of Boko Haram. The sect had initially claimed to be fighting for the creation of an Islamic state in northern Nigeria, but its aims and structure have since become less clear, while its attacks have grown increasingly deadly and sophisticated. | Really... So u all know that all level of Government is corrupt.. therefore they will force innocent people to dance to there tune with treat like this and that's what is happening here.
Why did our lawmakers collect money from Mr Presidency before subsidy was removed? That's exactly why I maintained then that all these pple has no good intentions for this country. Have we asked how much Nuhu Ribadu, Olisa Agbakoba et al are being paid in those various committees? Who audits the NASS itself? Who audits the Presidency? Nigeria is being run like Banana Republic, and I feel like I wanna puke each time I think about it. Very irritating! RUBBISHHHHH
