| Every person is a product of his or her environment. Therefore, white women as products of their peculiar environment project the value system of their upbringing. The same goes for black women.
Incidentally, poster does have a point - however oblique - since the world of today and of black African's in particular is gravitating towards imbibing and displaying the cultural value system of our brother white races.

| Your definition of a relationship has affected you and perhaps out of ignorance. Granted: there are details not worth recounting - bygones - but there are essential matters to put on the table as to forestall heartaches. It is possible to save your relationship of 3 years but put in mind the price for the lack of trust - which is what your fiance perceives - may come steep. The presence of a child is one detail which you should have presented as early as when you understood this connection may go places although it is easy to understand your fear. By all means find a way back to your fiances wounded heart and if he persists in maintening his distance, look up for a fresh relationship having learnt a hard lesson from this. Additionally, have some pride in your child and stop hiding her in the closet since you cannot undo her. | | |

It is pretty tough to distinguish facts when emotions are in play. If this poster takes a good (not second) look, she should quickly realize the man she speaks about is as confused as she confesses she is. Tough draw but her boyfriend has already shown inclination to - as she says he points out - break the heart of the other girlfriend. In such cases I usually refrain from giving a yes or no to the parties involved for obvious reasons.

| INCEST: sex between close relatives: segxwal activity between two people who are considered, for moral or genetic reasons, too closely related to have such a relationship. Incest is regarded as a serious taboo in almost every society, although cultures differ as to the extent to which marriages are allowed between relatives.
SODOMY: anal or oral copulation with a member of the same or opposite sex. Copulation with an animal.

| As the world comes to an end on the 21st of May, 2011 there will be no Local Government elections as earlier scheduled by INEC. All monies contributed for ensuring parties and persons enter into office come the vote should be speedily collected before the world ends. This announcement is seriously confused and should be taken with salt. | | |

| Firstly, our bible make us 2 know dat in d end time many people will come & called them self Christ, can u imaging dat somebody dat is not christ & called his self christ u know he will be preaching abt wat will make people 2 beleive him.Back 2 dat subject : our pastors don't preach salvation again rather it prosperity yes he will do since he know dat people r no more seeking d kingdom of God again rather dey seek prosperity & bible tells us dat seek ye d kingdom of God and his rightousness after dis he will give us wat we need aboundantly but NO, people r not rather dey seek d blessing of dis world dan d kingdom of God. So we people dat know we r working towards d kingdom of God lets be wacthful, vigilant & prayerful bcos witout dis we can not get der,but i pray dat NO matter how is it will shall all get 2 HEAVEN in JESUS name. Mattew 7v21 let us 2 understand dat Not every one dat saith unto me, Lord,Lord, shall enter into d kingdom of heaven;but he dat doeth d will of my father which is in heaven. So do not do wat ur pastor did so dat u will not be judge. Look @ dis bible verse Romans 5:8, 1 john 1:7, john 3:16, pls av ur faith in GOD not In ur PASTOR.Not all pastor r called by God.
Don't blame these 'peddlers' so much. There're only providing a socially required service. people don't like the truth my dear people.
Examples: lie to a girl: she'll believe and follow you. Tell a guy he's going to hit billions: he'll agree to do anything.
Its a social malady and it did'nt start today.

| it is no longer news that church business is now one of the fastest growing enterprises in Nigeria today. Pastors are only interested in raking in money to their pockets and they are still not paying taxes despite all the money they make. how do u expect a good bizman to even preach righteouseness in the church when he knows that that will not put money in his pockets. i think the bottom line is that all these pastors are not different 4rm the OBJs, Tafa Baloguns, and Alaiyemeseighas of this world. i mean they are fraudstars and rogues who don,t pay taxes in the name of God. God will surely judge everyone 1 of them
Study the church of the middle ages and you'll find there's nothing new under the sun.

| My brother the bible says to guard your heart You and you alone are responsible for your soul The same bible says prove all truths and that you should study to show your self approved. One is only tempted by the desire of ones heart, you will fall for anyone’s words if you have not spent time to seek the truth for yourself.

Forum / Religion / Re: Dear God, why do we walk in such shallow waters? |
on: 6-04-2009 11:40 AM
| I've been walking along this inlet where crabs and sand abound the guile of the ocean tide would make you think we're fine but the shallow sinking waters count down the slowly sinking time when a wave sits on the horizon stoic and benign we speed out to catch the rush but we get caught in the tide hiding under the surface only deepens the pulling current and dividing gap you find leaves your sandy tracks behind
And try as we may to hide it the desire to drown is there and with every passing faintly passing breath we feel the crush rush through the air with the chilly winds of the ocean and the cleansing shifting tide we feel ourselves wash away the sick desires that we hide
Babygirl, I'm thinking of oceans (water in general) in light of the little understanding which I have of symbols and their meaning in the Scriptures. In this case oceans would represent: tongues, peoples, nations. From the above no one can draw himself or herslef away except through death physically or spiritually. To die physically is regeretable but something which must happen to all of mankind pending the return of the Messiah. to die spiritually however denotes a repentance from sin into which this world has been sold from time by our fore-bears Adam and Chawah/Eve. Such a one dies to sin and lives to righteousness. However, your poetic construction is cool and so far I've not been able to marry it to the Scriptural symbols especially if you're mourning about attempting an escape? Lets put it down to inexperience. Regards.

| God is disapointed in Africa. The fair and just God of variety gave every people there race, color, language, culture, tradition and every other things in entirely different ways and manners, and that is what makes God happy. But Africa refused to Take all that God gave and went borrowing from the west and asia. Left the true african traditional religion(this offends God more) for the true religions that God gave to the Asians(christianity and islam). All are true religions but every people must do what God want of them.
Very soon we shall change our colors;_ this is the only thing remaining since we changed our culture, tradition, language etc. Lets be wise.
It is not only Africa which brings dissapointment to all of mankind (I don't think of the creator of the heaven and the earth as showing dissapointment in His creation since all things work according to His plan and purpose: Revelation 4: 11; 17: 17; Romans 9: 14-21).

Forum / Religion / Re: O worshippers of the Messiah - A Shift from the middle. |
on: 6-04-2009 11:22 AM
| Intresting questions you pose.
There is something you need to understand however.
1) The Messiah is not the creator of the heavens and the earth: the word 'messiah' means 'annointed one of Yahweh.
Definitely there must be someone annointing another for the ceremony to take place abi?
Then Yohanan/John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to immerse/baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will immerse/baptize with the Set Apart Spirit.' I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of the Mighty One."
Yohanan/John 1: 32-34.
As soon as Yahoshua was immerses/baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of the Mighty One descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." Mati/Matthew 3: 16-17.
As may be seen from the above passages there are two individuals involved.
The above should settle your curiousity as to which died and which of these noble, estimable, worthy personalities could be killed or handed over to human power. Definitly not the Father but the son (to put a quick spin on the answer).
Enjoy your studies. | | |

Forum / Religion / Re: Is it a sin not to pay tithe to the church in christian faith? |
on: 6-04-2009 10:34 AM
| The first thing about anything is a knowlegde of what that thing is:
But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the Mighty One of our Master, Yahoshua Messiah, the Mighty One of esteem—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this honorable way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! Ephesians 1: 16-18. And again:
"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the torah/law of your Mighty One, I also will ignore your children." Hosea 4:6a.
What do the above passages tell us?
Firstly is there anywhere in the Scriptures that it is commanded to give tithes in the form of money if we are to follow Scriptures instructions?
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." Tehillim/Psalm 119: 105.
Now to the nature of tithes:
RULE NUMBER 1.
22) Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.
RULE NUMBER 2.
23) Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of Yahweh your Mighty One at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere Yahweh your Mighty One always.
RULE NUMBER 3a.
24) But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by Yahweh your Mighty One and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where Yahweh will choose to put his Name is so far away),
25) then exchange your tithe for silver (money), and take the silver (money) with you and go to the place Yahweh your Mighty One will choose.
RULE NUMBER 3b 26) Use the silver (Money) to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of Yahweh your Mighty One and rejoice.
27) And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own. RULE NUMBER 4 (This will be another topic but notice it follows the annual pattern x3).
28) At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year's produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
Debarim/Deuteronomy 14: 22.
So Show Me.
So show me where it states money should be given as tithes or tithes should be collected every day, week, month.
My brothers and sisters first learn about the thing then you can talk reasonably about it as to help others come to the knowledge of the truth.

That's a serious consideration coming from you after four years wearing blinders. Better late than never I agree. Most people enter into a relationship based on just 'catching' their fun. If this was or is the initial reason you entered into this relationship, after four years it should'nt come as strange no marriage proposal has popped up. There are obvious signs at the start of any engagement which defines the direction it will assume if given free rein. Unfortunately many persons ignore these signs and presume the originally desired situation would manufacture itself along the way. Usually it leads to straw clucthing when time becomes a factor to be very seriously considered. As someone has already posted: it really does'nt have to do with ladies been eager for marriage - they should be married as a matter of form - rather it does have to do with an innability to define what one wants and plan ones movement along those lines. But I'm beginning to repeat myself. AOYN
