Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Eight People Killed As Police, Army Clash In Lagos State |
on: 26-05-2011 05:24 PM
| The Nigerian Police should be discret in recruiting young officers. I'm sure the police corporal that shot the shouldier wasn't given the right orientation otherwise, he would have known when and when not to pull the triger. The diseased shouldier has his own fault for resisting arrest and also refuse to identify himself as a shouldier. Na wah for our law enforcement agencies.
I think you are very much correct with your assessment. If Nigeria were a "proper" country, the assasinated soldier would be sitting behind the swedish curtain or/and pay fine for disobeying the police order to stop. Nigeria police is bad, and the soldiers are not better. Somebody wrote somewhere that the forces are not properly trained, and I am afraid it is not just the forces only. The whole government apparatus is VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY rotten. Infact, the society generally is in rot. Leaders and followers are not better than each other. I hope we learn and that very fast to sanitize the whole edifice. Nigeria is a time bomb waiting to explode. This for instance would never happen in a law abiding society. Soldiers have no business in law enforcement. Ogunsanya said the suspected killers of a soldier on Sunday night at the Ibereko Barrack of the 242 Reconnaissance Battalion are in the custody of the Nigerian Army and that the killing of the soldier is being investigated.

He better not, atleast not in Nigeria. Else, those vigilantes might mistake him for one and he might end up dying again. This time however, it will not be on the cross. It would be through burning tyres. Abeg you Jesu, no try to come like a thief to Naija. Naija people wicked pass Jews and Romans people o. my dear be serious, dnt joke about dis tins. it might be true My dear, I have been on this planet for quite a while. There have been so many a prediction that have come and gone. It is only people with bad conscience that will have headache because the supposed messiah is coming. As a genuine christian, you should be rejoicing at your Lord's coming if your hands are clean. Why you feared?

My daughter, First: Emi ati ire kii s'egbe (we are not age mate) Second: You know absolutely NOTHING about the WORDS of God. Third: I'd advise you to use your rational cognition when you are of a differing opinion to any person. Even Jesus was not known to have been so lowly in his behaviour to dissenting opinion. Thank you dear.

| I want want to be born in the garden of EDEN
You will quickly be bored. Not an apple, even an "agbalumo" daggled at you by heavily oops heavenly endowed "Efa" would be enough to get you tempted. If the garden of Eden was that paradisical, a lot of the "believers" would have opted to go there by all means. Last time I checked, billions of them are still hanging around in this very sinnous world.

| I really don't know which country to choose, but certainly never again Nigeria. Nevertheless, if I have the chance of coming back, I would not mind yet again to be an Ilaje man. By that time however, I hope the Ilaje people are no more part of Nigeria.
I don't want to live in a country where: - you are practically living in a self imposed prison, - you can not move around as you like regardless of time and location, - you can not trust your next neighbour, - almost nothing works, - mediocrity, nepotism and corruption are the norms, - it pays more to be out of law than to be law abiding - the life of a human being is worth not even a dime (or more than 1500 Naira)
Mind you...a dime is not equivalent to 1500 naira... I know! However, it is way more than the 20 Naira the NIGERIAN POLICE can kill you for if you refuse to submit. I wrote 1500 Naira because a lunatic wanted to kill his mother for refusing to give him that amount. Is on a separate thread on this forum. A dime is not more than 20 naira. it is about 16 naira. Sure, that would probably be the official exchange rate of 10 Dollar cent to the Naira value. You are right! Notwithstanding, the life of a person still does not worth a dime in that pompously naughty country... Except maybe if you are an (unlucky) youth corper brutally assasinated on national assignment by... The Notorious (Nigerian) Police Force has been known to kill for as little as 10 Naira...

| #Never get angry or offend your girl, especially if she has an elder brother or protective guy friends. The moment you screw her up, her guys will hunt you soon and chase you to death. #If you spot your eyes caught on a beautiful sexy lady in the market, make sure that your girl doesn’t figure out you doing this. #If you’ve had any ex-girlfriend(s), do not stop your current girl from hating all of them. Be prepared to hear ill about those girls, even if you still have soft feelings for any one of them. #Girls are super sensitive. Thus, be gentle to them. And by gentle, we just do not mean a gentle heart but physically! #Never lie to your woman. For if you do, she will leave you instantly. #To get cozy and intimate and expect the same from your girl, hug her from behind and whisper the three precious words in her ear. #If you have ever done something that has pissed off your girl and she replied with an ‘It’s fine’, assume it to be anything except fine. #Just like you guys, girls too love to fantasize. And surprisingly or interestingly, it’s about you most of the times.
Dat one na lie! My father (God bless his soul) used to tell me in the good old days that if you have 10 secrets, tell your friends 9 of them and keep atleast 1 for yourself. In the case of a woman, he said it is half half, 50-50. And my wife has not complained. Very soon we will be celebrating our 15th year 2geda. LOL

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: O BOY: Tragedy As son kills mother in Benin church |
on: 16-05-2011 02:15 PM
| These are the fruits of religious dogmas and superstitious beliefs. When things aren't working out for people (especially Africans), they believe someone out there is the cause of their failure in life. It's a common human trait to blame someone else for their short comings in life and it takes a lot of maturity to outgrow that retarded level of thinking. Everybody wants to be rich. Everybody believes it's his/her destiny to be successful. The churches are not making it any easier because they directly/indirectly tell their gullible congregation that if things aren't moving fine in your life, something or someone is hindering you. We can all see the results of such brainwashing.
***The day people start using their brains when it comes to religion, that will be the day religion ceases to exist!!!***
A dara fun e aburo! Religion and superstition are a hell of a shit I tell you.

| No respect for the dead? Dumping her naked body in the gutter? How awful!
You can say that again! If I do not know the Nigerian Police, I would said the hotel staffs should be tried for entering a crime scene without permission, manipulating evidence of crime, unlawful disposal of human corpse etc. etc... But I know the Nigerian police for who they are. Nevertheless, the act is still shameful...

hnmmmmmmmm see lines, its quite frustrating. Yeah, you will be frustrated if you are beaten up by men young enough to be your sons, they put gun on your head and took away everything on you in your own damned country. Whereas in another man's country, you regularly drive in the middle of the night without you ever being attacked or even embarassed by the racists.
