| @Poster You will have to travel to Nigeria first, you need to meet his family & friends. He will not be granted a visa as you are not classed as a relationship until you start to spend time together. I traveled to Nigeria first and have been 4 times and my man has been to my countrie 3 times, If we decide to marry it will be because we want to not for a visa, those days are gone, visa control is much tighter now. Just be careful, in time you will know if it is real, for me its just as normal as any relationship, we scream & shout down the phone ;-) I now know how to fight by text, my typing skills are off the hook I burn the keyboard!!!!!! It is very difficult to have a long distance relationship, Learn all you can about Nigeria, don't trust everything you hear about Nigeria specially the bad stuff, go experience the home of your man as it will help you understand him. Remember rome was not built in a day! | | |

Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: can u allow your wife ask her ex-boyfriend for assistance |
on: 15-07-2009 09:43 AM
| Any man would feel very degraded if his wife had to go to an Ex to get support, So why would the wife even let him know that she went? Marriage is about struggling together, just caz the going gets tough you can't go to an Ex!! If I did that it would show I had no respect for my husband, Is there no friends or family?? As for the Ex, Well he will want his payback someday thats for sure. | | |

| Guys! Keep the Pirates ;-) Don't let the big record companies take over everything. I love your C.Ds & D.V.Ds We are so controlled here in Europe regarding all that stuff, The only way I would agree would be if the record compnies were Nigerian based & the profits were creating jobs etc, But Nah they would take the money out of the countrie. Best that the guy on the market stall is making some bucks! | | |

Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: can u operate same bank account wit ur partner? |
on: 26-06-2009 09:24 AM
| Joint banks accounts normally go fine as they are mainly set up to pay bills or save for something, So if both partners are working they each wud put a certain amount in the account.
The reason why you do not seem to use it much in Nija is Becaz ur banking structure is different to Europe, USA, Etc.....All bills & payments are set up by direct debit here, put ur money into ur account & ur bill is taking out, Most people do not get paid by cash, Just ur payslip & ur job lodges ur money in ur bank account.
All these things were set up because of "BANK ROBBERIES" Too many of them
Truth is if U do not trust ur partner in that way, WHY are U with them?? Of course I refer to a committed relationship, Long term, otherwise do not even dream of it.

No...they don't. Such stories are on a high rate in countries like Nigeria where greed is the Father of the day. I say leave film for Oyinbo. And stop dissing my country. Greed isnt the father of the day. Ene if I were not African, I doubt knowing humans as I do, I'd do any joint acct thingy with any one. People are dramatically diff when moeny is in question. esp d wites who have less family views an us......u see en money is involve in form of insurance,et all...a whte woman can kill for it......... [/quote ]@ Pepigambit U saying I have less family views than U??? Ur letting me down with that kinda comment. A white woman wud kill for it? I am not gonna get into the black & white thing But please do not label people, YOU surprise me!

| @ Recovered Yep! I agree with U, Just because a guy has a low sperm count it does not mean they are no good, They may just be bad swimmers & need some help to complete the job. Many people I know have done Artifical insemination & now have children, sometimes it may take a few attempts but it is possible. | | |

| Sorry for you losing your friend. In times of grief people do tend to cling to belongings or stuff from the person that is gone & yes even the family or B/F or G/F U are also on the rebound so U need to give urself time to distance yourself from it all, Try to clear your head & focus on your grief of losing your BEST friend & also your girlfriend. In time U will know if this is right or not, Pray for the strenght to get through this. I wish you well | | | |
