I stand to be corrected, but where in our Constitution does it say it's a crime to name a dog? Please where are all our lawyers? This case must not just go away like that. For me, I feel the police are infringing on the poor man's rights.
I will correct you on this ,Mister.Taking into consideration the tribes involved in the matter and the dog's owner inscribing the dog's name on both sides of the dog's body,there is no doubt that the owner had a motive for doing that.i.e to incur the wrath of his Hausa neighbours. Please let's be honest and objective here,if I happen to live in any part of Igbo land , own a dog and not only name the dog your Igwe's name,but also write the dog's name on both sides of its body.Would that go down well with you people?Would you be happy about it?Put sentiment aside and judge on moral ground.
