As I laid on my bed, thinking about you, I felt this urge to grab you and squeeze you, because I couldn't forget last night. You came to me unexpectedly during the balmy and calm night, and what happened in my bed still leaves a tingling sensation in me. You appeared from nowhere and shamelessly, without any reservations, you laid on my naked body...you sensed my indifference, so you started to nibble, pierce and bite my body without any guilt and cares in this world, and you drove me out of my mind as you sucked me dry.

Today, when I woke up, you were gone, I searched for you but to no avail, only the sheets bore witness to last night's events. My body still shows your marks, making it harder to forget you. Tonight I will remain awake waiting for you...as soon as you appear I will quickly grab you and won't let you go, will hold you, with all my strength so you won't disappear. Won't rest until I squeeze your blood out...youuu... .......................BLOODY MOSQUITO

3970  Forum / The Buzz Central / I’m so lonely - •Top actress, Eucharia Anunobi, talks on life without her runaw on: 5-07-2007 12:14 PM
The society magazines were recently awash with how star actress, Eucharia Anunobi, was abandoned by her husband, who travelled abroad without telling her.

It was therefore a lonesome Eucharia that Daily Sun met recently for a brief interview. Lonesome, yes, but not downcast. The gifted actress is encouraging herself in the Lord, and deriving strength from the Almighty.

“Yes, I believe in God, and He’s been wonderful to me,” Eucharia said. “I am a blessed and lucky girl. I’ve been born again for about 10 years, and God is so good to me.”
Eucharia still laughs heartily. She still enjoys a good joke. But talk about her husband who showed a clean pair of heels, and a dark pall momentarily comes onto her beautiful, effervescent face.

“Yes, he ran away. He left me and my son,” she said gravely.

Did you quarrel?
“Husband and wife dey quarrel now,” she answered flatly.
And then another question: Have you been able to get over it?
“Well, I’m lonely. This is somebody I shared seven years of my life with. Apart from the times I went for movie shoots, we were never apart. So, it’s not been easy. When I wake up now, I’m on my own. I suddenly find I have no one to cook for, nobody to help carry my son when he’s sick. It’s terrible.
But I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe we are not meant to be.”

Will being born again affect the kind of roles she would be acting now?
“I have been born again for more than 10 years so I will not say being born again will stop me from acting or stop me from taking a particular role. The job of an artiste is to play different characters.
I’m a child of God. I will not do tardy roles. But as long as it is something that would educate and entertain people and also promote a message, I’ll do it. When I play the role of a prostitute in a movie, we are showing and showcasing to the world that those who do this kind of job, the consequence at the end of the day is always negative.”

One selling point of this glamorous actress is her diction.

How did she develop it?
“I must say, it’s not going to school that makes you speak well, though I read English. For my diction, I think practice makes perfection. While growing up, even till now, I read the dictionary a lot. I learn to do pronunciations and I watch T.V. I listen to people who speak well and I do what you call self-training because if you want to be good and you want to be like someone, then you have to learn to be like them. Most of the time, those people that speak well on TV, when they talk, I imitate them, I learn and I want to talk like them. So, I have done what you call self teaching all along overtime and that is what I am still doing because life is about improving yourself and that is what I have been doing.”

The remarkable hairstyle?
“It’s part of me and also I learn on the job that as a woman, you should take care of yourself all the time and always turn out looking good. Some say I’m crazy about my hair. I sweat a lot, and I can’t stand smell, so I do my hair every week. It costs money, but I have to do it because of our weather.”
3971  Forum / Politics / Nigerians going through hell, admits President Umar Musa Yar’Adua on: 5-07-2007 12:12 PM
resident Umar Musa Yar’Adua on Tuesday, in Accra, Ghana, admitted that the majority of Nigerians are literally going through hell, in their bid to eke out a living, following widespread poverty. He attributed the situation to the inability of the system to generate jobs as well as the vexatious power and energy problem.

Addressing the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Director for Africa, Mr. Gilbert Houngbo, Yar’Adua said that while the domestic economy was doing well at the macro-level, with big businesses booming, "our people are still struggling to eke out a living."

The president said, "the main problem is power and energy. The capacity of the system to generate jobs is also limited," adding that his administration was determined to create an economy that is targeted at job creation and eradication of poverty at the micro-level.

On financial and economic matters, he said his administration would soon present an executive bill to the National Assembly for a law that would provide a proper legal basis for the management of the country’s "excess crude" funds.

The president also assured the international community that his administration would leave no stone unturned in its determination to reform and restructure Nigeria’s electoral laws, processes and institutions as soon as the election tribunals conclude their work on cases which arose from the last general elections.

He told the UNDP boss that his administration had already begun talks on the issue with all political parties represented in the National Assembly. He hinted that at the conclusion of the talks, a committee would be set up to examine all the issues that impinge on the conduct of credible and transparent elections in the country.

Said he: "We have a lot of work to do to re-examine the electoral process so as to make future elections peaceful, credible and acceptable to the vast majority of our people. I consider this as a major legacy I want to leave to Nigeria at the end of my Presidency: that we can conduct credible and transparent elections.

"As soon as we finish discussions with the parties, we will set up the committee to begin putting up the administrative structures. They will begin to work out the modalities, look at examples from different countries, examine our process and institutions and look into the electoral laws and the constitution.

"We want to look at everything and we know UNDP can help us to realize our objective of institutionalizing a process for credible elections."

Yar’Adua also restated his government’s determination to resolve the Niger Delta problem by providing solutions that would be acceptable to all stakeholders in the region.

"We want to build trust with all stakeholders. Last week, the vice president went into the creeks to discuss with some of the militant leaders in their camps. The dialogue was fruitful. We will build on that.

They will be part of the solution so that together we can also deal with the criminal element of the Niger Delta issue," he said.

The president also held separate meetings with the Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Mr. Kato and the World Bank’s Vice President for Africa, Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili.

3975  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Nigerians are world's most segxwally active - Research on: 3-07-2007 02:51 PM
Nigerians have been rated as the most segxwally active and satisfied in the world, according to a survey conducted by condom manufacturers, Durex.

While Nigerians came first on the issue of being “very good in bed”, their French and Japanese counterparts were not so lucky. They are the worst! In fact, they are very bad in bed.

In the poll, while Nigeria came first, Mexico and India came second and third respectively, but they are far behind Nigerians who, it was claimed, have sex almost every minute.

The survey, held in 26 countries, showed that French men and women don’t get satisfaction in bed as only a quarter of those questioned said they had nothing to complain about while many Nigerians interviewed said they get “maximum satisfaction” in bed.

Britain, one of the countries also surveyed, was in mid-table in terms of frequency of intercourse - at 92 times a year on the average and had a 40 per cent satisfaction rate. But the British are better lovers than Germans and Italians, according to the survey.

Analysts have attributed the “success” of Nigerians in winning this medal to the high libido of not only Nigerians, but also many Africans.

They said, for example, that over 16 per cent of teenage girls report first segxwal intercourse at the age of 12, while among young women age 20 to 24, nearly half of them reported first sex by age 16. Among teenage males, 10 per cent reported first sex by the age of 12 while about 40 per cent reported first segxwal intercourse by the age of 16.

They also said among segxwally experienced teenagers, over 20 per cent of women and over 30 per cent of men reported they exchange gifts, money or favour for sex, while among teenage women, 40 per cent said they have used some form of contraceptives before they engage in sex.

Though the constitution makes it a confidential matter, his decision was borne out of his conviction, according to the Special Adviser to the President on Communication, Mr. Segun Adeniyi, that the war against corruption could not have meaning “until those at that helm begin to live by example.

The president, who also published his assets as governor of Katsina State, declared the assets at the Registry, FCT High Court, Abuja.

The details indicated that the value of the president’s assets is N856, 452,892. The assets include N19 million owned by his wife, Hajia Turai Yar’Adua.

The liabilities, according to the Special Adviser on Communication, show an outstanding loan taken from the Unity Bank Plc, Imani Estate branch, Maitama, Abuja, put at N88,793,269.77.

The president’s assets include remunerations, savings, campaigns, post campaign contributions, buildings and plots of land, farms and orchard, cash at hand and vehicles.

The president, who has no foreign account or assets, has the bulk of his assets listed under the remunerations, savings, campaigns, post-campaign contributions and 29 campaign vehicles located in Katsina and Abuja.

Also, the total annual income from his assets is put at N18.7 million while the First Lady has a total annual income of N132,000, which comes from the president.

A breakdown of the assets shows that the president has N43,702,892.43 as cash at bank, being remuneration, savings, campaign and post campaign contributions lodged with the Bank PHB.

3977  Forum / Politics / Ministerial List: IBB, Anenih dare OBJ - Dangote, others back OBJ’s nominees - on: 3-07-2007 02:48 PM
THE battle between the pro and anti-Obasanjo forces within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted to the ministerial list as both camps are now struggling to get their nominees onto the final list.

advertisement
Findings by the Nigerian Tribune showed that the delay in the release of the list had allowed for fresh horse-trading with those who lost out in the selection made two weeks ago at the party caucus meeting in Abuja now making a dramatic comeback.

The names on the list may be read out on the Senate floor tomorrow, just as other reports indicated that even some nominees might appear before the Senate in a bid to fast-track the confirmation process.

It was reliably learnt that Chief Tony Anenih, leading those loyal to former President Ibrahim Babangida, was pushing hard to ensure that their nominees made the final list, a goal being resisted by close allies of the former president.

When the caucus meeting held recently, Obasanjo had boycotted the meeting due to his emerging differences with Anenih, asking Chief Olabode George to represent him.

The meeting was said to have ratified some ministerial nominations from some of the states with an alleged agreement to forward the list to the Senate, an exercise in which many loyalists of the former president lost out.

Obasanjo, on return, was said to have upturned most of the decisions, relying on the support of top leaders of the party such as Dr. Ahmadu Ali, Chief Ojo Maduekwe, the legislative leaders and the many mega rich citizens who emerged during the last eight years of civilian rule.

Nigerian Tribune learnt that President Umaru Yar‘Adua is maintaining a studied silence as both camps struggle for supremacy, even as Obasanjo appears to have the upper hand in the confrontation.

he attempt by the Obasanjo group to dominate the ministerial list has angered many and the involvement of Alhaji Aliko Dangote in the nomination of the ministers from the North is said to be widening the opposition to the Obasanjo group.

It was gathered that the business mogul personally suggested nominees not just from Kano, but other parts of the North in conjunction with Obasanjo while also rallying support for the Otta farmer in the ongoing struggle for the soul of the presidency.

The mega rich club, of which Femi Otedola and Jim Ovia are members, were said to have prevailed on the president not to stray from the pre-election agreement, just as they drummed support for Obasanjo through the activation of their political wing within and outside the ruling party.

The situation has brightened the chances of those normally referred to as ‘Obasanjo boys’ as the final list that emerged from the caucus meeting over the weekend reportedly favoured those endorsed by the former president and his allies.

The anti-Obasanjo forces are, however, fighting back as reports showed that petitions are piling up on the president’s desk on why some nominees should not be included in the final list.

The ambush point, Nigerian Tribune learnt, is the National Assembly during the screening exercise, a possibility already pre-empted by the Obasanjo camp through the nomination of the former president as the head of the PDP legislative agenda committee.

While the committee is to work on bills to present to the National Assembly, it has the duty of liaising with the leadership caucus of the PDP in the two chambers where Obasanjo loyalists are predominant

Meanwhile, a presidency official told the Nigerian Tribune on Sunday that the list containing the first batch of ministerial nominees may have already been sent to the Senate.

The source revealed that the nominees had also gone through the normal security screening with some of them billed to appear before the upper chamber this week.

It was learnt that about three of the nominees were reportedly dropped by security agencies during the screening.

However, several petitions are reportedly flooding both the Senate and the Presidency against some of the nominees.

“As of today, I can tell you that as from Tuesday, the ministerial nominees will be coming before the Senate for clearance. We are aware that the amended list has been forwarded to the leadership of the Senate, so we don’t want to waste any time,” the sources declared.

President Yar’Adua had earlier put the ministerial list on hold following the reconciliatory meetings with the three major opposition parties — AC, ANPP and PPA — with a view to forming a “Government of National Unity.”
