he says he has a british passport but he shud also have a nigerian passport with UK visa on it because it is the same nigerian passport that you wud use to a get a british passport...so technically he has a dual nationality...because all dis ones u guys are sayin he cant use it come to naija..yess he can he wud his naija passport to come to naija ( thats if he had one which am sure he did) and then british to go back..cuz thats hw it works..#justSayin!!!
but didn't you hear him said(according to the post) that he couldn't travel to naija to honour a show bcoz his passport wasn't available?so if he has dual nationality as you presumed, why didn't he able to travel to naija with his naija passport to honour the show? something is missing hear.that's for sure!
Maybe the guys passport had expired or maybe he had been out of status and waiting to become a UK citizen before travelling to nigeria, maybe he just didn't want to take the risk of travelling back to Nigeria without becoming a UK citizen first... but like you said
it doesn't make sense either way. Not sure how the UK system works
yeah! that's the point, that why i want that lady to explain more how UK system works, cuz here you can't be out of status if you do apply for German citizenship,in fact your status must be always current, even if your naija pass has expired..they will issue you a temporary resident permit until your passport is out..so his story isn't clear..
basically mode 9 said he couldnt go to nigeria and germany because he was waiting for his passport.my own point of view is that he couldnt travel because his passport was with the homeoffice during the shows and everything.
one of the reason could be that he couldnt go to nigeria at that time because his passport was with the home office, now applying for a citizenship is a very very long process depending on who you are in terms of what you were initially doing in the country ... it can take from a month 2 six months and thats excludin the pasport itself because first of all u need to be granted naturalization for citizenship first and den after that you will go for the ceremony for your certificate to be presented to u( which you have to book by urself) after the ceremony you will still neeed to apply for the red passport itself and thats another process as well...so i can understand what his trying to say in terms for how long he waited for and how much pain it cursed him because its a long process..thats why the homeoffice always say make sure u do not leave the country in the process of your application.
As for british passport i would say it is
one of the most respected passport. he shouldnt have spoken that way.
