I think the most important thing here is understanding and the willingness to keep the vows. Attitude and character also matters but for me the only thing that make me to disgust marriage is infidelity. Every other thing can be overlooked but infidelity is dangerous and i think it should be done away with couples to really enjoy marriage. REMEMBER THAT UNDERSTANDING IS THE KEY. Beside you also need to have regard ,respect and honour for your partner if marriage must be enjoyed.
The issue of staying together does not make sense because it is the same marriage you are running away from that you are getting your self into indirectly. It is even more dangerous in African tradition to keep a woman without paying her bride price. A woman who feel that living with a man is the best  does not have any atom of love for thatn man and the earlier pple know this, the better for them

I have been married for nine(9) years now but each time I thought of her; I have that affectionate feelings of her even though she is late. I know many will not like to hear it but that is it and I'm battling to get over it.
