It is a must that we should, as Christians, give! I actually believe we should give like a church in the book of Acts. The church gave out of love, having realized the need and they gave accordingly. Tithe is law and the bible states it clearly in the book of Romans that law makes people slaves of sin because they do things because they are compelled, not because they love to. Mind you, God generously gave us life, I mean life in abundace through Jesus Christ, out of love. I think He was simply setting a trend, which christians should use when it comes to issues like giving... Let us give according to the need, meaning we should even give more than ten percent of our income if the need be... Do it out of love my fellow brethren, that is why even Paul tells us that God Loves and appreciates a cheerful giver.

BUT SOME RUN AROUND SPECULATING, THEREBY CREATING SOME SORTS OF RELIGIONS... YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT!
