We are tired of hearing this same Ibori's saga every now and then. Efcc and Metropolitan police should go for the bigger fish which is Obasanjo. If they (Efcc) really want to receive the mass hands shake of Nigerians, they should bring Obasanjo and his daughter Iyabo to book for defrauding Nigerian of huge sums of money. They should stop this scapegoat chase. If you want to make a stream clean, start cleaning the source of the stream.

Gentlemen, this is not an avenue for segregation, sentiments and libel fights. Let us reason to achieve. We are the hope of a better and successful Nigeria. One person cannot determine the future of over 150 million people. If somebody is sick let him seek submissive medical attention, get well before tussling for political office.

Or does he have political ambition in the long run,now he has employed dis guy to disseminate his msg of affluence....lol

He made his money through hardwork. He is an executive officer in credit-suisse. Time magazine named Ogunlesi to its 2002 Global Influentials list of the 15 most-promising young executives, while Fortune ranked him as the Seventh Most Powerful Black Executive in the United States.

@ Poster, are you saying that nothing legitimate can come out of Nigeria? Must every Nigerian be linked to corruption and fraud? You see, people like you scared the man away. If he had invested such money in Nigeria it would be a crises for him simply because you would tag him corrupt. Let us change our mindset. The man in question is a topgun of credit credit-suisse. 331  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Nigerian, Adebayo Ogunlesi, 56, acquires London Gatwick Airport on: 20-02-2010 01:38 AM
There are richer and more brave Nigerians who are ready to invest their hard earned money into our economy. There are people who are dying to bring resources from abroad to better Nigeria as a country. There are one million Ogunlesi alike in Nigeria. But what is their problems? Political instability, lawlessness, perversion of justice, regular and unstable nonsense economic reforms.
If accidental this man brings this kind of money for an airport in Nigeria, they will sale it to him today and take the airport away from him tomorrow for another person to buy. Example, NITEL / MTEL. We have headless, and self centered  leaders in Nigeria. Please do not say anything against the man. He invests where his money will be secured.

If she is not a lesbian, she should ignore the publication. The act of suing the magazine is a total childish exorbitance. She is further causing more harm to her career. She is a public figure and a celebrated musician with fans and should allow her fans to act for her in cases like this.
Journalists are brilliant people and are aware of the judicial consequences of the story before the published it. She should go and use the publication to make more money through a resounding lyrics of the story in a good album.

hmm!i gnoring such nosy journalist may just be d begining of d show as others may come up with smtn else.yes she is a celebrity  whos's bound to face such things but i fink she is sm1 who  cares about her personality,so ignoring aint a good aproach.secondly, how do d fans help her in dis case "ourhearts". Roll Eyes

There is no basic beginning and end of the news that Asa is a lesbian. What else will they hold against her? The news is one of rudiments of fame. We here in Africa sometimes copy the western culture in diverse areas of our lives. We must also maintain the copied western life and integrate in our views.
How many times did you hear that R.Kelly was a Gay? Pinknews.co.uk carried it as a headline. But the news turned out to be false. R. Kelly did not take the news outlet to court. There were other people like Usher to mention a few who were victims of such scandals but they ignored the news.
The fans can help advocate for her through write ups in the media if they find her dying for. After the news of R.Kelly child molestation and Gay which the court acquitted. He performed in Los Angeles and his fans were seen carrying placards saying he is innocent of the charges and news. Such news even make stars more admiring when they ignore them. Now 70% people here see Asa as a Gold digger.

334  Forum / Relationships & Romance / What would you do when your marriage is breaking ? on: 17-01-2010 10:31 PM
For me, Love know no boundary. I am an Igbo guy seriously in love, sincerely and committed in my relationship with Ola a yoruba girl. After three months of courtship with Ola, i proposed to her and she accepted. We planned on the marriage rites, but she insisted she get pregnant before we proceed with our marriage which i also agreed on.

Fortunately, she got pregnant, when the news of the pregnancy was announced, i was already abroad on a business trip. I hurriedly completed my overseas assignment to return home for our marriage. On my arrival i was sacked from my office. Two days later, i had a robbery attack and my car was snatched from me at a gun point. I started losing important things i could materially lean on.

These unfortunate events that happened made us postpone the marriage rites due to lapses in my finances. At this point Ola's pregnancy is near 6 months already. The parents whom i so much admired and cared for turned against me. To worsen matters, the mother came to my house on the 14 January 2010 and took Ola away challenging me to pay the marriage rites if i want to marry her daughter.

This is a big challenge to me. My innocent child whom i always play with in the mummy's tummy makes me restless. I am too broke now to proceed with marriage rite. I need your advise........

Timaya my brother, this is a very good sign that those sweet c*@t actresses cannot be trusted. When they are through with you, they will accuse you of unfaithfulness and move out. Check all there history, they are the same. Who so ever is marrying an actress must buckle his shoes for divorce. Go and marry from Hausa land my brother. Get married to one Amariya and live your life in peace. Use the law enforcement agents to get your car back, and respect your public image. I love you my man.

All these noise about CBN and five bad banks are politically oriented. All the affected five banks were and are doing better than First bank were Sanusi was the CEO. Yar'dua and Sanusi are just trying to Northernize Nigeria. The whole of the North has only one bank which is the worst bank in Nigeria. They just want to sale the shares of the affected banks to the Northerners.
They should go ahead creating fear where there is peace. Why announce the five banks and proposing to sale there shares without completing the audit of the remaining ten unaudited banks? They have already planned this game before the lazy Sanusi came into office. How well was first bank doing in Nigeria?
How dear you arrest our celebrated Mrs. Ibru? You want to arrest people who have invested half of there lives in the Nigeria economy? Professionals who worked day and night for the betterment of Nigeria Economy.
Mrs. Waziri or what they call you, watch your back and have a rethink. Think of what happened to Rabidu.
