We are not living in the past, Gucci amani... was not in existence then. The truth is that prosperity or poverty doesn't take anyone to heaven. The most important thing is to live your life for Jesus. Weather you are rich or poor, it's a state of mind. What the word of God warns against is yearning for prosperity at the expense of your soul. Abraham was wealthy and made heaven & Lazarus was poor, he still made heaven.

Yes I like it, because I want to be prosperous. It is the greatest desire that God has for me. 3rd John 1:2. Besides, if pastors are preaching salvation people will still complain that the message is hard, I am not trying to blow my trumpet, my pastor preaches salvation, prosperity and what have you... My advice is that we should mind the way we air our view when it comes to spiritual matters... For the fact that some people are faking it does not mean that everybody is also faking it.
