I have seen it in home video.

  It is not only effizzy that makes  people order for wht they dont eat normally ,it is curiousity and sometimes wht they know migt not be avalaible. For example I have friends from different part of the world and when I go visiting them in their home country were there is no Nigeria food i order  for food i dont know , but most times i use my head  to order for food that sound familiar eg  I can order for any food that has fish in  it ,i know there is no way its not going to be good. Sometimes we order for things we dont know because wht we knw might not be avalaible.
