Let‘s be sincere to our selves, I am not a Northerner but let’s try as much as we can to get a fact articulated. Look around you, where you see some of your sisters and brothers schooling even some are lecturing in Northern universities.  Kindly visit some higher institutions in the North, belief me, you will see Christian students Campus fellowship and other Christian related associations. Let us be careful hence, we will not start another……so that people who are ignorant about religion like Boko haram will not misinterpret the story. 

Very unfortunate we discriminate religiously, what a shameful act? I am a Muslim, I studied all along in some Christian schools; I know bible very well but, I am still a Muslim. You do not force anybody to embrace your religion but your act convinces the person. We should understand religion to be an individual’s belief; never you allow anybody to fool you; please think of it. Boko Haram whatever exists only in the Northern part of the country while the boy in question is a Yoruba boy besides, the covenant university itself is not in the Northern part of the country despite the fact that Boko Haram itself is never an Islamic sect. Government knows all about the formation, financing, objectives, and operators of Boko Haram.  Nigerians should stop talking as we are not one, Boko haram killed a lot of Muslims brothers, so what are we talking about?  Nigeria is a secular state thus, any religion is welcome.  I was in South Africa December 2008, because of my Nigerian passport. No hotel gave me accommodation in Johannesburg because I am a Nigeria. Similarly, I was in Egypt in January 2009 because of my passport among everybody that boarded the flight I was taken to different department for special interview and subjected to severe scrutiny. August 2009 I was in UAE, it is only God that can narrate the level of carefulness people observe in dealing with you as a Nigerian. Wherever u go in UAE Indian, Pakistani, Philippines etc .call Nigerians “problem, problem, plenty problem etc” I just wonder where we are going.
