In fact I suspected that some thing went wrong in between both of them because he later advised me not to marry the same girl with some kind of reasons,that she seems not reliable and may be the kind that sleeps around with people.

My big cousin did buy such (G String) to the girl I intended to marry some time ago,I think that was one of the reasons the marriage didn't work out but ever since I keep wondering what that could mean.

WHAT I HAVE DISCOVERED OVER THE YEARS IS THAT OIL IN PARTICULAR IS A CURSE! LOOK AROUND THE WORLD AND YOU WILL FIND THAT MOST DEVELOPED NATIONS WERE'NT OIL PRODUCING NATIONS. JAPAN, US, UK, RUSSIA, GERMANY... YOU NAME THE REST. BUT WAIT A MINUTE, WHAT IS THE FATH OF THOSE ARAB OIL GIANTS? WAR, LAZINESS, FEAR, MONARCHY, ETC. OR BETTER STILL, WHAT CAN THEY ACTUALLY OFFER THE WORLD? OIL...IN IT CRUDE FORM I GUESS. VERTUALLY NOTHING, NOT EVEN REFINING TECHNOLOGY. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, ADVANCED COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD ARE MORE FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING THEIR HUMAN RESOURCE AND NOT OIL, AS IT IS THE ONLY SUSTAINABLE MEANS OF DEVELOPMENT. AGAIN, IF THE NIGER DELTA PEOPLE WHERE TO BE LEFT TO CONTROL THEIR OIL???, THEN THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN THE END OF PEACE, COS EVERY VILLAGE AND HELMET WOULD WANT TO CONTROL THEIR SO-CALLED OIL. INFACT NIGER DELTA WILL DIS-INTEGRATE INTO SEVERAL AUTONOMOUS COUNTRIES...GOD FORBID.

LASTLY, AS A NORTHERNER, I WOULD LIKE TO SINCERELY ADVISE THE NIGER DELTA PEOPLE TO EXPLORE THE OPTION OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AGRICULTURE AS A VERITABLE MEANS OF LIBERATING THEMSELVES FROM THEIR PREDICAMENT AND EQUALLY FOCUSE ON MORAL RE-ORIENTATION OF THEIR YOUNG ONES SO THAT THEY DON'T GROW UP IN THE LIGHT OF PEOPLE LIKE ODILI, DSP ALA AND ALL THOSE NIGER DELTA GOVERNORS THAT HAVE STOLEN THEIR STATE ALLOCATIONS AND DEPOSITED IN FOREIGN ACCOUNTS, LIVING THEIR PEOPLE WITH GUNS, POVERTY AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION. AS FOR WE THE NORTHERNERS, OUR GRAND FATHERS LIVED BETTER AND IN A MORE PEACEFUL NORTH WITHOUT OIL THAN WE ARE LIVING NOW WITH OIL. IT WILL BE OUR PLEASURE TO RE-EXPERIENCE THE PAST. ATLEAST WE HAVE PLENTY FOOD TO EAT AND LAND TO BUILD HOUSES AND FARM. BESIDES WE HAVE PLENTY OF RESOURCES THAT WE COULD DEVELOP AND MAKE TWICE AS MUCH AS NIGERIA IS MAKING FROM OIL! WHO SAYS THERE IS NO OIL AND GAS IN THE NORTH??? ONLY TIME SHALL TELL.

THE NIGER DELTA PEOPLE SHOULD TAKE IT EASY, OIL IS NOT EVERYTING AND NOT HAVING IS NOT THE END OF HOPE. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE!

You made some good points in terms of dialog but the issue is that the Northerners in power are not even doing any good to their own people in the North talkless the whole Nigeria.The Northerners upon all are lacking behind in all it takes for civilization.The so called leaders are not even doing any good to the Norths with all the money they loot.Start from IBB,is there any common industry in Mina,his state,then talk of Abacha and so on leaving their folks to suffer as well.I will advice every wise Northerner to go deeply into Agriculture hence they have a very good fertile land that could grow all this food.Our leaders have deceived us much for their selfish interest nothing more.As you can see the Igbos,they are hard working and good in business I think they are much comfortable with with their faith.

Even with the look of things right now,division is at the corner.If care is not taken.

Its impossible for Nigeria to speak with one voice!
These are various entire different people be it in Religion,Tribe,Ethnic,Language,Mentality and so on.
You see we are pretending Nigeria can never be freely as one rather only with force.

@Sweetsturf,I think you have the right to say what you know and stand firm with your believe but do it without insulting the other.I am not trying to judge you rather a little piece of advice.Your opponent will even hear you better with understanding if you apply gentility.You may at the end be able to convince him /her to believe what you do but not with harsh words.Try it,it works!

Please dear fellow Nigerians,I still advice you take things easy!Try to erase the kind of hatred packed in our minds and learn to accept,tolerate and respect each other be you Christian or Muslim,that is a perfect way forward.It seems most of us are not seeing the heat and cultivated problems religious and tribal differences has caused us and still to screw us in future if we don't change from this common mentality of hatred!!! You see,that is why peace will be far from the so called Nigeria because of religious hatred.Nations of wisdom nowadays are trying to avoid religious dispute,hence it is a very big problem.Every normal human being knows that his or her neighbor has the right to live and at the same time believe what he or she wishes as religion of choice so long that doesn't contradict the public peace and orderly law.Nigeria would have been a better place if we keep our religious interest to our personal selves without trying to force each other to believe what we do.Look we should be above tribalism and religious differences.I am a Christian but will not condole a Muslim friend or fellow citizen being disrespected or cheated just for the fact that he/she is not of the same religion like me"but that does not mean I am perfect" If we claim to be one Nigeria then let us try to behave as one in addition treat each other with respect and value,that is a way forward.If US and Taliban in Afghanistan are fighting that shouldn't be our cup of tea,rather we should be mindful of our interior problems in Nigeria.You can imagine our president traveling to S.Arabia on medical treatment,just because we do not have a sound medical care in Nigeria.Does that mean Nigeria is not an oil nation likewise S.Arabia????Look let me tell you a simple fact,diseases that claim ppls life in Nigeria are not even pronounced in Countries with good medical care like Germany and Swiss and many others,why not adopt from these advanced nations hence the fundamental resources are within reach.NIGERIA IS NOT A POOR NATION.We need to concentrate on crucial issues that needed to be treated and demonstrate continuously against the Government for mismanagement until we witness a good change instead of engaging into religious crises and wars that claims the lives of many fellow citizens while the dubious leaders are busy looting the federal funds.The fact remains that both the Christians and Muslims likewise from the North,South,East and West are not benefiting the resources as Nigerians,but you forget your major existence and right that is being denied from you by the dubious rulers and engage in fighting religious wars.I've leaved with some Muslim neighbors in same block in Germany some years ago but we never one day had any problem just because we respected each other as individuals and never engage into religious arguments.Some times we used to call each family on phone with good wishes and our children used to play together.Nigeria will only move forward until we learn to respect each other undermining our religious,tribal and regional discrepancies.Which I call "pocket racism"

What I'm reading here here is absolute ridiculous indeed!!! I am a Christian for sure but there is need for Nigerians to take their faith and learn to live peacefully with each other without hatred.In fact both Jesus and Mohamed none was Nigeria rather both from Middle East,during their missionary work none of them visited Nigeria,both religion were introduced to Nigeria one through colonial adopted likewise the other.We should be tired of a fellow Nigerian killing the other in the name of religious differences.Whereby none of us can fight for the God we believe to be serving instead God fights for us in all works of life,saves us and indeed provides for us.Who are you to fight for Almighty God??By taking the life of your fellow citizen just because he or she believes in some thing else!!!!Whereby a true religion does not support killing rather try by His grace to live a good and peaceful life,that can impress your fellow.We all knows the right thing to do,Why not lets do it and leave the rest for God himself.True God has the power to convert who ever he wants and use him the way he want as he did with SAUL to PAUL.I know some of our Northerners are really aggressive religiously and not all but it is not lawful the way some of us are trying to generalize every Northern Muslim citizens of Nigeria as same by calling them all sorts of names, that is not fair!!! If you call yourself a true Christian you should know what I mean,that Christ preached for LOVE not hate.
