4  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: "Marrying Many Wives is a Sin In Islamic Religion" - Fuji artist Adewale Ayuba on: 28-05-2012 03:32 PM
I think Ayuba was confused. He neither practiced Islam nor an ardent christian. Most Fuji musicians, although suppose to use their songs to promote Islam, yet it is a fact, that most of them do not use their music to preach Islam or promote good morals. That is the reason why most enlightened people dislike their brand of music. If Ayuba is verse in the religion, he should have known that while the Qur'an is standard, yet there are acts and spoken words of the prophets, which the issue of marriage falls under. He may be an Al hadji, but he had portrayed gross ignorance about his religion. Please study more, to be a better role model to  your fans and admirers. Please note i am a christian.

for ur information mr poster, i think u have to get ur facts right. first of all, i am a student of covenant university and the school fees is not even up to the outrageous money u put there and the school wasnt built with church money, d chancellor used his personal money for the university...

Please do not assault our collective sensibility, with your claim. Where does the chancellor got his personal money from? aside from the various contributions, the church collected from the endless program mes they organized. I guess your age will not permit you to know, how early missionaries educated most of these chancellors for almost nothing. Why are they adding heavy yoke on their members, as if being a member of a church requires loads of money. If it is about money, i think many of our pentecostal pastors should have a rethink. They should impact their environment better. Everything is about them and their family alone, Christ told His disciples, that whoever wants to be masters must first served and in retrospect he too will be served.   They should have compassion for the poor and those not very rich. Ironically, many of the pastors find it difficult to give while they preached giving. Many of them are Oliver twist, always asking their members to give money and their substances, at the end of the day,  the pastors will claim everybody commonwealth for themselves and their family alone. Your chancellor would have built both the church and the university long before he did, if he had such money way back. Please do not be fooled, their wealth came from the collective contribution of the people God put under their care. God himself will judge them on how they have utilized all he put in their care. I wish they will not be too proud to forget how they were before God raised them.
6  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: TRUE or FALSE? Nigerian men are gold diggers on: 21-05-2012 04:00 PM
I pity this frustrated and over rated, actress, describing herself, as gold that men dig. It is only low rated men that sought after very irritating over bleached entity like her. It amuses me that, theater performers with little coins always  over blown their impact and worth. Worst still, i and many of my friends, did not even know her, because we don't watch those two for hundred Nara films, where their types featured.  Your pride will continue to deny you of good men. It is obvious that, most of you find excuses to remain the way you are, because of your promiscuous lifestyles. Please be cool, then you can be spotted by nice and real men, not another mirror gazer.

See my brother,

I love Igbos cos they are real Nigerians like the Yorubas but the Hausa are the bad egg.... Its not the fault of the Yoruba or Igbo people, it was the whites who were selfish by joining us together.

Assuming Nigeria comprises of only the Yorubas and Igbos, we would have gone far than expected but the Hausa virus keep dragging us back.

Yes, we must all face the problem squarely but I still prefer our break up which will bring us development, then if the Igbo and Yoruba want to form a country, so be it.

Laye laye, God forbid bad thing.

THE ONE THAT WAS PUT IN PRISON IN EASTERN NAIGERIA, AND HAD AGREEMENT WITH THE GOVERNOR OF EASTERN NIGERIA TO GO AND DECLARE ODUDUWA REPUBLIC?Huh?Huh??   HE IS A TRAITOR!!!!!  AND HIS QUEST TO BE A HEAD OF STATE NEVER CAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   YOU CAN NOT COMPARE THE IGBO WITH ANY TRIBE IN THAT GOD FORSAKEN COUNTRY!!!!!!!   WITH TWENTY POUNDS EACH AFTER THE GENOCIDE WAR, YOU CAN SEE HOW THE IGBOS NOW CONTROL LAGOS AND PARTS OF THE WESTERN REGION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  NOW WE LEAVE YOU GUYS TO FIGHT YOUR COURSE SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please let me correct that impression  that Igbo control Lagos. Thank God that even, before the advent of the Europeans, it was on record, that, the Yoruba  have a well grounded political systems that made control of all Oduduwa territory well demarcated and govern by respective aborigines of each divide of the old Oyo empire, starting from Ilorin up to Dahomey. If you are updated with history, you will know that Lagos has Her own King and chiefs controlling the affairs of things in that Yoruba territory.  Till date Lagos still has her Oba and the five white caps chiefs who oversees the affairs of Lagos. Also our Governor is Babatunde Fashola, i am sure that is not an Igbo name. So do not take our hospitality for granted. Stop this attitude of greed and covetousness that drive you to always wanted to take over what is not yours. This is the reason why the other part of the country are not comfortable with igbos at the elms of affairs in Nigeria. Also, the reason why, you are having problems with your accommodating brothers, in all the areas where you resided.

WHAT YOU MEAN BY BEEN QUICK TO TEMPER, YEARS AGO IS NOW WHAT HAS CLAIMED THE LIFE OF YOUR PROFESSORS, AND WILL CONTINUE TO CLAIM MORE WHILE YOU STAND ASIDE READY TO RUN AS FAST AS YOUR LEGS CAN CARRY YOU. MY BROTHER, THE DIFFERENCE B/W RETREAT AND SURRENDER LIES IN THE ABILITY TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY, WHICH YOUR PEOPLE ACROSS THE NIGER NOW UNDOUTEDLY HAVE. TURNING THE OTHER CHICK IS ONLY WHEN YOU ARE SLAPPED BY A SANE PERSON. YOUR BROTHERS ACROSS THE NIGER RETREATED AND CAN TODAY BEAT THE1R CHEST, WHILE YOU HAVE ALEARDY SURRENDERED WHAT MAKES YOU HUMAN AND ARE NOW COWERING IN FEAR.

i can understand your problems. The Ibos bloated ego, always make them to  act on impulse, without thinking of, the outcome of such stupid impulsion's. You say you retreated. When a Yoruba man as finance minister then use simple wisdom to reduce all your gragra to forceful surrender to Nigerian Army. All your war hero ran away and left all of you unprotected. Check history, it was Obasanjo that Ibos surrender to. Please, if you are not learned enough to understand Nigeria history and the history of your usual gragra and its usual result, please do not post rubbish about a tribe that is blessed by God to have dominion through application of God given intellect and natural Wisdom.

I trust my brothers from across the Niger to  act swiftly and courageously whenever occasions called for that.. I also acknowledged that, wisdom and patience is more beneficial, than brute energy when faced with difficult situations. Without these virtues, one will lack sound strategy for victory, against your adversaries. That is where the Yoruba's differ. Our diplomacy is the strength of our survival and the wisdom behind our relevancy in the scheme of things in the nation called Nigeria.  If our brothers across the Niger are quick to temper and today they remain a defeated section of the country, is it not better, we do things differently, so as not to get their type of result. All posters should think deeply before responding to some sensitive issues.Thank you.

I just noticed your postings. Your piece are always apt and sensible. The only aspect you fail to emphasis and which is very important is segxwal compatibility. Assuming a woman possess all other qualities, and is not segxwal compatible with a man, then the result is Zero. Nice job done, keep it up.

Having gone thru most of the replies to this post, it is expedient that, i added my views to this topic. I will say, it is purely matter of the heart. Such matters can be torturing and makes one very stupid. There are qualities noticed in a person, that can be dangerously attracting, but may not be sustainable, when given the advantages of intimacy. It goes further that, failure to appreciate a jewel at hand often led to throwing it away cheaply, regretting later, to no avail. So, those type of attractions are just mere shadow of the real thing,a mirage. Please, deal with your mindset, think deep and compare the qualities of your present realities, to what you stand to gain if, you allow mere infatuation, to stand you on the head as against your leg. You are an adult, sort out good advice from many that have been offered on this medium and apply it to your problems. I will not advice you to discuss it with your husband because, such will cast doubts on his mind about you. Men are incurably jealous. Once a perception is allowed, a seed of gradual disintegration  had be sown and the end results; always unpleasant. So, deal with yourself psychologically and if you win this battle, then it means, you had perfected the act of life's champions. Wish you all the best.
17  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: Why in 9ja, wife's money is hers while husband's money is theirs? on: 24-04-2012 04:29 PM
In the days of my dad, we don't notice the synergy between my dad and mum, that enables them to run our home without any hitches. My dad is an account officer, while my mum runs her business. They both handled the joint venture of running the home so smoothly that we never knew it can be a big deals sometime later, to do same. Today's, women are so unrealistic. Most of them have read so much romantic novels and watch American movies, to the extent that, they thought, fictions and acting are  real. I will equally blame men of today, we are gradually becoming women while they are gaining more grounds. We allow them to capitalize on our weaknesses. Most times we loose our senses when dating, ignoring future calamities noticed then. Attempt to fight it later always left us devastating. we only have to blame ourselves, for condoning nonsense from the onset. So, i will advise men of today, to be smarter when dealing with the women of today. Do not leave anything to chances. If you notice your wife is playing greed and selfishness games, do not wait till she skinned you, before taken appropriate actions; after all we have known now, that the ideal of one man one wife is a device to weaken the endless opportunities open to men. The ideal is not Biblical but just a foreign tradition. Ask Tyson Tiger Woods, and numerous Nigerian stars.
